| Thanks, to explain the unbalance of the snare drum sound, we did not adequately test the snare volumes after the file was bounced from logic to itunes, so we had a warped perception of the volumes. You would have to consult Mmiller23 about his micing method, I am not completely sure what he did but I recall him mentioning that there was something to be fixed for future demos. | From a traditional Agbekor pattern played on the gankoqui bell. The rhythm is exactly the same with the exception of an added beat (making the pattern 5/4) with the added note on the 2nd eighth note triplet of beat five. Then to spice things up, I added an accented chord hit every five notes of the 5/4 pattern, making it take 25 measures of 5/4 before it resolves back to the downbeat. All this with the standard rock backbeat really added to the polymetric/polyrhythmic tension.
