I've never studied music in a special school. Music to me is in every sense a state of being, feeling. It's living. I can play many traditional instruments but my approach to music is always intuitive, unconditioned, rather irrational. And so often i break some "unwritten" rules. Like a wild flow music overflows some narrow (mental) borders and that's a positive side-effect!
I started very early with playing music, at the age of fourteen me and my friends formed a band called "The prison". Later i began to focus on sound recording, mixing and producing own music and also demo-tapes for various bands - for example: "The Black Bros" - a Rap band, "Michael Eddie Cazaubon" - a Steeldrum Master and Songwriter, "Gerard Florentine - a Reggae musician and lots more. I changed many musical styles from aggressive New Wave crossing over to Folk, World and Celtic music to reach now my actual space of musical development and discovery: Ambient Music.
Inspired by the sound of the Australian Didjeridu i started to dive into the depths of music.
Now i'm creating my own soundscapes and -patterns, composing vibrating and tactile soundtracks full of strong energies. And it's lots of fun! Most of my tracks are distinguished by some kind of ethereal, floating sounds. Perhaps it's that transparency, serenity within that leads my music to be apt for calming down, relax or contemplate. From time to time it's good to stop for a while and hold on to our soul, take everything easier. That's one first step towards inner and outside peace...
I'm now working constantly on preparing the best stuff for one first CD. Have a good listening! Thanks to be here. iCompositions is a great community!
