I really liked this. Though I'm not sure I exactly like the title, as I think this piece seems more positive than negative and (at least to me) the title is quite negative, depicting someone with no soul. But I'm not here to rate the choice of title, I'm here to rate the song itself. And I was very please with the song! Good work! |

 Very nice! I liked it a lot. I found it a bit interesting that you used the acoustic bass as your main instrument, as it is usually used in the background. It seemed to work, though at times I would have liked to have it a bit more in the background as it seemed to overpower some of the other instruments. I also agree with TaG on the synths. They were out of place, pure and simple. Other than that, great job! |

I like this one a lot. I think, though, that it would have sounded much better with some synth or beat that gave the song a bump up on the bass. I turned my bass way up on my subwoofer and it still didn't do it for me. Other than that, good song!! |

 Nice song! I'm not sure I can say I was very happy with most of the combinations of synth and guitar throughout the piece. The worst of these combinations was near the end of the piece. I was liking the sound of the echo-y synth and then I just cringed when you put a dreamy guitar loop in with it. It just didn't work. Other than that, I enjoyed this piece a lot. |

I liked that a lot. I don't like to discriminate just because you used loops because loops used right can make a really great composition. That said, the way you mixed your loops sounds really good. I thought the synths were interesting to include in a funk piece, but they worked well and kept a good upbeat feel. All in all this is a good song and very good for a first cut. Good job! |

Okay, from what I've gathered in your description, you've made all of your loops yourself, don't have a keyboard, and either are Canadian or need the guys from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" to set you straight (eh?). I liked the song, but it ended abruptly. With loops, it's hard to end just right, so I'd suggest just fading all of the tracks gradually out instead of abruptly ending like that. Other than that, nice work! Pretty good, eh? P.S. I'm not sure if this quite qualifies as Electronica, but where else are you goin' to put it? P.S.S In case you were wondering, I've found that songs with artwork get more listens and reviews. Consider getting artwork for your next song if you want reviews as you mentioned in the forum. |

I like the concept a lot and the car-driving-by sound. That being said, I think this song went a bit to long. Eventually I got a little bored with the same loops over and over. Also, I'm not sure all of the instruments you used really fit in this piece. The guitar loop especially. I still like the concept and creativity behind it, though! |

| The static you're hearing, Michael, is meant to be. It is part of the effected drum loop set. All of the drum loops from that set have been heavily edited and are, well, effected. All of the drums from Alienoid were Effected ones, to preserve the feel throughout. Thanks for the comments! | |

Love the vocals. You've got a good voice! This song just grabbed me, and I love its signature techno feel. It cut off really ubruptly though, leaving me hanging. Other than that, though, nice goin'! |
