Like this, nicely done Lapskin. But I can't see different genres (though I'm not familiar with Electonica)

Love this too! Not generic at all the theme was very suiting but still original!

Again.. Stunning job Violinist. I've been writing my music in manuscripts strictly as of late, and the wonderful balance of sounds in this piece has encouraged me to seek out the satisfaction you get from scoring on GB.

Violinist: this is absolutely fantastic! Makes me think of Cirque du Soleil's "Alegria".
Lately on iComp I've been running into "classical" composers who's theory seems to be 'find a 4-6 note theme, beat it to death and just keep on beating, and add the most annoying extra harmonies for added effect.'

I love the mood this piece established and look forward to listening to your other Concert Pieces.

This is really great and I can totally see it fitting a Nanosaur-like video game. I wish it had changed the style up a bit more so I could hear more ideas but still fantastic!

This type of classical isn't really my cup of tea- but it's still a fabulous job. Great job! smiley

Lament for a Sound Lost [Woodwind Quintet] v1.2 by davidsmith99 4 years ago

Sounds wonderful, I wish you'd have expanded it to full orchestra.. it sounds like it has a much deeper beauty held down by the restrictions of a quintet.

Still quite beautiful!

Oh wow this is a really good.. well developed composition. 5 stars definitely.

When I get my damn midi pedal for my keyboard I'll be recording my first Piano Concerto (3 movements), and this has no doubt been added to the long list of influencing pieces that will help me compose it.

I wanted that too, Mudra! I need a midi pedal for my keyboard: or I don't plan on doing any piano solos: it just sounds to choppy.

Wow I liked this a lot more than I thought I would from the opening. Lightens the mood, too!
Great job!

Looking back at it there's so much more I'd like to have done with this melody! Shouldn't have rushed it smiley

Dies Irae I: God Unveiled by Alegoo92 4 years ago
Thanks mahlerfan,

That was one reason I almost didnt post this. In my written orchestrations, the strings have a very low and loud-growing buildup just before a pipe organ and tremolo strings take the melody.. I was too lazy to put it in though..

It seems like every1 gives 5 stars here: but you compeltely deserve it... Its sooo great. The opening is so eerie and the way it grows.. reminds me in some ways of Mars from the planets. Just wow. Great job.
