Heart-beating, feet-stomping, finger-snapping dance music capable of leaving dance-electronica fans jumping, girls quivering, circuit boys dancing and club goers bouncing. Alexen is a Filipino-American Dance-Electronica artist, singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. His greatest quote and advice to friends and family is “Don’t Be Sad! Let’s Go and Dance!”

“Come On and Dance” - Alexen’s catchy debut single has been chosen for the “ART OF MEN CD” Compilation that will be launched on August 26, 2009 at the Mint in Los Angeles. The Art of Men CD celebrates talented male artists from around the world, delivering songs in a tapestry of different genres & styles of music dedicated to messages empowering human equality, communication and vitality. The compilation series is associated with the already critically acclaimed Females On Fire series, produced by Warrior Girl Music, which celebrates over 100 talented female artists from around the world through its three double compilations. Out of 700 songs that were submitted, 35 were selected! Alexen’s “Come On and Dance” is one of them. Alexen with other male artists will be performing LIVE at the CD Release Party.

Alexen entered the Los Angeles music scene in 2006 with his debut single “Come On and Dance”. His first live appearance was at Taxi’s Road Rally in the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles with a standing ovation. After that he performed three other songs at Troy’s Acoustic Music Night at the Stone Bar Los Angeles. Everyone had enjoyed listening to his song “Come On and Dance”. On December 2006, Alexen released his debut CD Maxi-Single – “Come On and Dance” with two remix he composed, which is now available in iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, Amazon and other digital stores worldwide. Alexen was premiered at the radio station, Studio24RadioLive.com and became their first featured artist. Alexen performed at Whiskey Creek in Lovelock, Nevada; and at The Best of Tsunami in Silverlake, California. A Tsunami Mix of “Come On and Dance” was inspired and created. Another internet radio, Indie 104 – iRadioLA, featured “Come On and Dance” for over six months.
