Biography

Hi my name is Xyron Paul

I live in Bacolod City, Philippines. I enjoy playing the keyboards, guitar, and a little bass and I do gigs here in my town with local bands. Right now I'm with the 3rdSpin band and we do R&B and Pop Jazz covers in our gigs.

Although my first love was drawing and painting, music has greatly influenced me in my teenage years and the passion for writing and composing songs and the opportunity to share it with others inspired me to become a musician. Now I'm 29 years old and still loving it. I've been a professional musician for almost 10 years now.

Writing music is a hobby of mine and whenever I had ideas or concepts for a song I usually write it with my acoustic guitar then record it on Adobe Audition. It's the only music software I know, but right now I'm learning how to do it on Fruity Loops.

I really enjoy listening to music on different genres be it hard rock, pop, jazz, electronica, etc. For me it's like exploring different worlds and emotions as well as learning new techniques and styles.

Some bands and artists have greatly influenced me this includes the Beatles, Dire Straits, the Cars, the Cure, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Petshop Boys, Chicane, Moby, Portishead, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Linkin Park, Garbage, Joe Satriani, the great Bob Marley, 311, Spyro Gyra, the Rippingtons, Chick Corea and so many others...

I hope you will enjoy listening to some of my songs i uploaded in this site as much as I enjoyed writing it.
