| I would love to make the solo longer, but it was a real pain to write. I'm a drummer, and I ended up using GarageBand's keyboard window and writing it essentially in Midi, which was no small feat. I ended up having to quantize all those notes by hand, which was no small feat. In any case, thanks for the warm words of encouragement! There's still more to come. |

 Very nice, love the synth textures you used in here. What I like about this is that, even though I can tell it was created with GarageBand, it has a special uniqueness to it that keeps it original and sets it apart from a lot of the other stuff out there. Well done. |

Hey, thanks a lot for your comments! I definitely try to mix things up and keep it interesting, and I feel like I've truly succeeded when you can listen to a 6- (or even  minute song and it's over before you even realize it. I figure, I must be doing something right if I enjoy listening to my own music over and over. |

| Thanks both! I know the levels on this one aren't exactly perfect, it turned out to be really difficult to balance properly. As they say, works of art are never completed, you just stop working on them... such was the case with this one. It sounds alright if you listen to it with a decent set of speakers, but if you try to play it through your iPhone's speakerphone it's going to sound like ****. So it goes. | |

| Only if I can find someone to sing 'em, and someone else to write 'em first! I actually have a hard time with vocals, unless I start with them. The melodies come a lot more easily. EQ'ing can be difficult; I do my best, but sometimes it doesn't come out just right. I have to listen on my computer's speakers, as well as headphones and through my stereo. In the end I usually come close enough, but I guess that's what counts, right? Thanks for the comment! Hope you enjoy some of my other stuff as well. You've got some good music yourself, keep up the good work! |
