| Thanks for the honest feedback guys. The original mix done on my studio speakers sounded great. Then I tried the song on another set of speakers and it was boomy? So I ran a HPF over the track to take the boom away. May have reduced a little of the bass though! Doh! | |

Nice track mate! Really warm production too. I too listened too it in headphones and felt almost surrounded in your musical blanket! The vox sound great. Almost understated yet perfect at the same time. The overall feel reminds me of west coast late 60's like the other guys here have said! More please! BTW, nice guitar work too. It was the first time I tried the drums on demand loops and realised after I'd loaded the track onto my machine I was out a couple of beats! (how did I bloody miss that!) To give you a abckground the track was written and recorded about 18 mths ago, but I didn't like the drums. So I got Garni to lay his drums down ( without a click track too I might add!) and I think he's done a fantastic job! Thanks again G! |
