Hi,
I am very honoured that this song was chosen as "Song Spotlight".
Taking into account that "Indian Mix" is one of my very early experiences with GB, it sounds quite vivid and I am still happy to listen to it. Although I have learned a lot more about GB in the meantime, this song would not become much different if composed today smiley

Thanks for all your ratings and: keep groovin'

The melody is nice and the guitars are played very good. However, the drum loop becomes a bit boring after a while. You should consider to do some changes in the drums and add some percussion. A bass would also help to make this song a hit. I like this one.
At the Edge by BamBoo 4 years ago
@ borris: Maybe you're right with the guitars. In a newer version I have reduced them a bit. It is all GB loops except of th Crystal Synth line that runs parallel to the bass in some places.

@ ponkey: I'm happy you stayed and listened to the end, because the song is evolving and changing. And there are lots of little gimmicks to be found in the ongoing tune. Your song with the piano sounds nice, too, but its character is completely different. That's really amazing.

@psychotoe: I wish I could play like this! smiley

I will try to use more self-played instruments and shift away from ready-made loops.
ElectRocker by CygnusX1 4 years ago
I like this one. However, still somewhat incomplete. You should extend the guitar theme and add a spiffy fill in the middle.
Meanwhile I let the whole thing loop to hear an extended version smiley)
Desert Ride by BamBoo 4 years ago
Thanks for the input. I'm working on an extended remix without those scratches!

Desert Ride by BamBoo 4 years ago
Hi emersive,
thank you for your kind rating. I also like this music very much and - you are right - the scratches don't fit very consistent to it. Anyway, I will do a remix without the crappy scratches soon and will keep you informed. As I said above, the thing was completed within one evening (3-4 hrs).

BTW I have visited your web gallery: very good stuff! I like it very much.
