Biography

Formerly known as mahlerfan, who originally registered on 11/23/06.

(Biddup is a name exchanged through the hallways of my high school between the three Billys in my freshman class, one of which is me. The word is called very loudly whenever a fellow Biddup is seen.)

I am a big music nerd, and though I absolutely love almost anything orchestral and jazz, lots of Christmas music, 60s, and Christian pop, I am not much of a fan of rap, rock, etc., though I have tampered with them before in GarageBand, and find them to be quite easy to master. I have composed a lot lately, though I pay such close attention to detail and getting my piece to be the best it can be in my own eyes that it is often a while before I upload a new piece. (My longest piece written is over ten minutes long!)

I play French horn in my high school concert band and mellophone in marching band. I can also play some trumpet, and used to play a small bit of violin.

My favorite composers include Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Stravinsky, John Williams, David Arnold, Patrick Doyle, and Hans Zimmer.

My favorite books include "Eragon," "Eldest," "The Hobbit," "The Chronicles of Narnia," and various other fantasy novels. My favorite movies include "The Phantom of the Opera," "August Rush," "Eragon," "Star Wars," "The Lord of the Rings," "The Chronicles of Narnia," "Stargate," and "Spider-man."

I sincerely hope you enjoy my music! Many thanks to RoboScott for the custom avatar and banner!

Psalm 150

"Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy house of worship,
praise him under the open skies;
Praise him for his acts of power,
praise him for his magnificent greatness;
Praise with a blast on the trumpet,
praise by strumming soft strings;
Praise him with castanets and dance,
praise him with banjo and flute;
Praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum,
praise him with fiddles and mandolin.
Let every living, breathing creature praise God!
Hallelujah!"
