I've been hacking at the strings since my 10th birthday present in 1969, a laminated Yamaha. In the 70s I bounced tracks between stereo cassette decks to horrendous ends; used a Fostex in the 80s and GarageBand since 2004.
Influences? Everything from 50s, 60s rock, pop & psychedelia to 70s pop, prog and heavy pre-metal. Sly & the Family Stone is a desert island pick. Jazz-wise, I have a mile-wide and inch-deep grasp and can't play much but dug the early days of fusion (RTF!), Chet Baker and Thelonius. BeBop beats cool jazz. Best rock today? Wilco. One aspect of my playing was my lead guitar playing with Chicago-based Farmageddon--some is here, more live stuff's at YouTube (user-Farmageddon1).. ALL LINKS are at my iWeb Virtual Garage.
