Biography
My musical bio reads more 'past life' than 'real life'.

Supporting roles:

The Festival involved most of New Zealand’s highest profile women composers and musicians, along with featured international artists, from all styles of music.
1993-94 Composer in Residence - Capital Discovery Place.
Funded by QEII Arts Council. Designed, set up, and tutored composition courses in a sound recording studio to (hopefully!) inspire young, or technophobic, composers to explore their talents further.
1993 Producer, Emergent Voices - 1993 Smokefree Composing Women's Festival.
Conceived and produced a concert for New Zealand’s up-and-coming women musicians, The first national festival of women composers.
------------------------------------------------------
Education:
1990 Wellington Polytechnic - Certificate of Music (Performance - Jazz Drums). (Yes that's right - a certificate in hitting things...have found it comes in handy ALL the time!
)
1989 Victoria University of Wellington - Bachelor of Arts (Music), received two composition awards.

Fast forward to modern day:
Am trying to decide if Santa's gift of a drum kit was a late quarter life crisis or an early mid life one. Either way, a pretty painless one all round. Except for the neighbours.
