A Cappella Tips are BACK!
June 18, 2007 | 5:21 pm
It's been over a year...but I'm back in action.
Hello again friends!
I took a bit of a hiatus and am now back in the studio laying down even more tracks and going to work on some original songs.
I want to mention one such song in my A CAPPELLA TIP OF THE WEEK for this week.
My new song EVERYONE is very vocals heavy. It's so hard some times to sing every single note in tune. But, because of our good friends over at Apple, we now have a way to correct those tiny little mistakes and make everything sound like magic.
It's called the AUTO-TUNE function in Garageband.
Okay, okay...so what's the tip? Well, if you combine all of my other tips with this one it should make sense. My biggest piece of advice for you that want to try this one out for size is that you need to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when you're playing with this feature. If you use too much, you'll sound like Cher in her song BELIEVE. If you use too little, you may not get the results you desire. Either way, play around with it a bit before you go producing anything.
That's all I can offer you this week. Check back for more!
