 First, thank you for listening to my songs, and giving me feedback. I am about to listen to your other works, but thought I would just post a comment on your brand new track "Ragged." There is a lot of great things going on in the track. It at times reminds me of "Labyrinth" era Bowie. Dream like. Here are my thoughs on your not so finished track: -More needs to happen sooner. The song doesn't kick in until the middle, and by that time, I was a little bored. -But I LOVE what happens in the middle. There is a great tribal/jungle feel... but in a weird, dream-like way. But... - I then wanted it to really take off... and it just lost steam again. I liked what happens at the end... maybe have that come in sooner... and then add something for an even bigger ending. (Do I sound like someone that has no idea how to read or speak songwriting? ... jeez.) This one is a keeper... one to go back to. (I have like eight of these.) There are a lot of parts that really work... there is an exciting song in there. |

I liked this. It has an ambient/film score feel. I do think it is a touch too long... but as someone that has just started listening to ambient music, I know that regular song structure isn't usually used. I REALLY liked your mix of the classical loops with the dance beats... I never thought of getting Jam Pack 4... might need to now! |
