![]() Holy damn! It starts right off with a burst of energy! The synth you used is just oozing pure ecstatic emotion, and is crying out in a climax. Beautiful tunes. The reverb also adds a lot to the atmosphere. I love Reverb; always use it in my tracks. But yeah, this is pretty impressive. I liked the introducing of new melodies that fades into the rushing mix and becomes like a body part with the song, which then continues to evolve into a new sound in general. It's all wonderful. Good trance my friend. |

![]() Abstractions...dimmed, fading lights, life in slow motion, slow intensity, all at once, all building up at once. They all fluctuate together and form a machine of noise, and then into an entire factory, emitting nothing but pure sound in the form of rhythms and soft, but pulsing, beats. The ambiance of it all gets me in the mood to listen to Pomme Fritz by The Orb. It does indeed capture the odd and mysterious, but awesome vibes of The Orb. Very nice atmospheres and feelings this song generates. The vocal work tripped me out a lot! And then the percussion comes in and I love it! Ohhh, that menacingly deviant sounding bass that slithers into the track makes it a tad overwhelming, goosebumps... Amazing work by you guys, I'm really digging it. Simply brilliant. |

| ...And so it begins with a distorted beam of energy surging into the scene....overtones of thunder, or possibly waves shred through the sound with all of their powerful but yet subtle presence. And then comes a steppy little stone that pops up and down and around the corners with the tempo. I'm being dragged down deeper and deeper into the abyss, blinded by the blue rays of light glimmering onto my face, and I can hear the choir of souls egging me on to join them in their content and exotic wonderland of eternal ecstacy. How did I get here? Am I dreaming? Possibly not...it's all too real to be fantasy. Deeper...deeper..into the mystery of it all. Overwhelmed by the beauty of the atmosphere generated from the sounds and the imagery that it conjures. Again the thunderous waves roar with all their might to allude me, but I'm not afraid, for it sounds amazing and pleases my ears. Underwater flutes calmly express their emotions in the dark, forbidden trenches, and as their emotions peak they begin to wail with sound. Deeper. Waves still rumbling from the above world, trying to make contact, but I'm too far in, too entranced to tell what's right from wrong. Natural high. Blue rays beam in my face again, but by now I'm used to it. Rolling around on the ocean floor, I begin to get enclosed by the friendly water sprites, the smile on my face wide. ...fades to black... (Wrote all of that the entire time it was playing.) FANTASTIC WORK! I love it! |

![]() ..My God. This one is quite uplifting. By that I mean both intoxicated with glee and happy feelings and being levitated to the Heavens above. The little fluffy clouds are merging with my body, becoming a part of me to create something beyond beauty. Then that heavy metalic synth immerges from the airy scene to provide some energy to general feel of the track. Wonderful sound. Made me feel at peace with my surroundings. |

![]() Wow...the intro had my head in a trippy daze. It began to wind up a little bit along with the rhythm and senses of colors fluctuating through the tempo. And then that laid back drum beat kicks in with some energy, just to end up chilling me out later on. Watery vocals enter the mix..where am I? Am I in the depths of the vast oceans? Or is it all an illusion from inhaling too much nebula dust? Odd..but entrancing. I love it all. Makes me think about Pink Floyd collaborating with The Orb (which they have done). Very nice track. It stimulated my imagination. |

![]() Wooooooottt Electo House intro! That made me mad with glory. Oh my sweet baby Jesus..those trance pads that start flowing in with the pulse of the beat. Ugh, damn..I love it! That wind sound that pumps with the beat is too addictive. The way it builds up..brilliance. AND THEN DAT SYNTH LEAD BREAKDOWN. Lord have mercy, that was fabulous. Wow man, this one is downright classic! Pretty chill and laid back but still gets you energized. Forever me gusta. |

![]() Wonderful beatmixing! I like how it pans from left to right ear, very pleasuring sounds. Nice progressions into the main tune of the song. Cool effects as well. I really like the synths you used for this too, all nicely mixed together. When the deep bass kick chimed in I almost lost my mind! And the keyboard following afterwards was a great touch, adding a little mysterious feel to the song. The lower note synths get a little more active and entrancing while the beat slowly changes so it all stays interesting. Overall this was a pretty legit track with a sick, addicting beat. Very chilled. I loved it! |

![]() I LOVE the Hardstyle intro...I'm just beginning to get into that certain genre and it was pretty great. I'm also getting into Dubstep too so the dub session was nice too. And then our track kicks in..quite lovely to hear it. But, I'd like to hear it being transitioned into the mix rather than having one song end and this begin to start up..Like, set one song to a certain tempo, and then once you're done with that portion of the mix, find some clever way to fuse both songs together by the tempo so it all fits perfectly..slowly fade out the previous song and continue on with the new track, and repeat for future tracks. And the vocal samples that you added to Watchtower should have more effects added to them, like reverb or echo effects; I just always use those because it adds lots more atmosphere and variety to the sounds. This was pretty decent though, and you did say that it's unfinished, so take some of the advise I provided (if you wish to follow it), and make this final mix a groundbreaking phenomenon! |

Wow the intro reminds me A LOT of Afrojack's style, the simple beat with the wind sound pulsing in-tempo through the kicks. I like the wobble sounds that start up later on, and the keys are pretty nice as well. This will be a great track, man! ![]() |

| trance kids by Lapskin | 8 months ago |
![]() The intro was pretty weird, in a very good way I mean. The beat starting was really nice, and I loooove the keys that followed, (the main melody of the song). And it progressed really well. You captured the trance/dance style but managed to make it much more than just that. The effects added to the synths made it even better. The reverb and possible echo effects added tons of cool atmospheres. I know that a song has really made an impact once it has made me start feeling a tad emotional, and this track sure has. I'm not sure how to describe it, but the keys and effects here really have me going, makes me feel good, makes me feel nostalgic too, reminded me of the good old days driving a fast car in Grand Theft Auto 3 with the trance radio station blasting. Anyways, mighty fine song here, good work. |

![]() Wow, this is a lot to take in right now. The intro was kinda freaky sounding, but in a good way. And then when the song actually starts up, it's a chilled kinda mood...but with these really cool, abstract sounds strolling in and out of the mix. I loooove the female vocals, really calms me down. The synth pads are very beautiful, and I admired the little part involving the piano. The beat is very hard and grimy sounding, like faulty machinery going into rhythm with a deep bass kick added. This is wonderful, keep it up. |

![]() So I've been listening to the Immersion album by Pendulum A LOT recently, and this is reminding me a lot of it...but as if it were older and from the early 90's. @olympus Oh I completely LOVE the movie by Hayo. | MY GOD! The very first second started out with that powerful bang of percussion! It frightened me a lot at first, but then got me grooving. The vocals are really beautiful, and the drumming gets more rhythmic and entrancing as the track moves on. The shaker instrument really got the vibe going well too, and I got extremely into the song. I also hear strongly reverbed voices and singing in the background. It's so faint and distant, creating a very large, mystical atmosphere. This song is compelling! I loved every second of it. A great pleasure to my ears. Beautiful work indeed. Keep it up! | |

![]() It sounded iffy at the start of everything, but it REALLY came together well after about a minute into the song. It was cool how it all slowed down in the middle, that was trippy. I like this a lot, but at some parts it sounded like my "Huge Evergrowing Brain" seemed a little off with the tempo. But anyways, thanks for using my track in this cool mixture. I really appreciate it. ![]() |

![]() This sounds a lot like the modern kinda rave music that's been blasting around the clubs lately. It's so damn professional sounding!!! Aha, yeah, I like the catchy little melodies spurring around in this track, they remind me of the imaginative old games I used to play as a kid, which has a cool nostalgic feeling. I like the reverberation on the claps in the beat. Epic synths penetrate this track with lots of emotion and power, it's amazing. Nice work dude. ![]() |

![]() I absolutely LOVE the fusion of instruments. At first its nice and calm with the piano, the beat kicks in and the violins are so dramatic and excellent and it all goes so well. Then, all the sudden, the filthiest, dirtiest bass wobble slaps me silly and I am really digging it. Trippin' hard! BTW the song info says it was "Only Loops". You so sure about that? Cause I don't recognize any GarageBand Loop use at all in this track, only really cool original melodies. Anyways, brilliant and fantastic piece! You should really make more songs involving this genre, Dubstep, cause you're really good. >:D |

My goodness, Xolv, I love your critique because you understood the whole thing about the excessive attention to detail and the focus on bass. But, the very last thing you wrote about creating the same mood and atmosphere of a song, but making it original, is exactly what I have done with almost every single original song I've created so far. To rephrase that, most of my songs are completely based on one or more songs that I deeply love, trying my hardest to capture the feel, atmosphere, and beauty of the song I was inspired by, but changing the notes or beats to make it original. Thank you so much for this cool critique, I loved reading it! |

![]() This is way too uplifting, like a musical Anti-Depressant, lol. ![]() Damn man, you're getting pretty bad*** with GarageBand! The intro was soothing, with all those pretty cool "circuit sounding" synths submerging their sounds. And then, the trance dance breakdown! Lovin the new tunes |

![]() Wow! Such uplifting trance! I love that Fifth Synth you used for the lead. And the singing at the end was the Cherry on Top ![]() |

![]() Great images come to mind with this one! The intro was cool with the countdown. Then, in the middle it takes a break from the beat, then it starts back up again... love it... |

![]() Wow the piano is a great touch. Then the beat kicks in with the 8-bit sound... Beautiful pice and nice end track! |

| I also wanted to add that the intro reminds me of the song "Crockett's Theme" (Miami Vice) by Jan Hammer. "Emotion 98.3, more mood swings than your pregnant wife." |

| Old fashion music, but a kind of modern type video. It makes a nice mixture. | |

The next time I'm really exhausted and need to chill, this will be #1 on my playlist. :]
