I am a former radio/club/rave DJ and I am also a musician.
I play keyboards, some guitar & bass and drums/percussion. I do use loops in my music as well as DJ stems and beats. I've been playing keyboards since I was tall enough to sit behind my grandmother's baby grand.
Everything I create is done on an Apple iMac using Logic Pro 9, NI Komplete 8, NI KORE 2, Arturia's ARP 2600 soft synth and many others. I use 2 M-Audio MIDI keyboards... the 88 key MIDI keyboard and the smaller 49 key MIDI keyboard and even a turntable gets tossed in there every now and then.
Plus, there are loads of other external gadgets hooked up to my iMac. I'm thinking about getting an NI Maschine soon and I just ordered the upgrade to Komplete 9 they released recently. The reason I am here on iComp is to share ideas and styles and just have some fun. I want to thank everyone over the years that have commented and encouraged me to continue onward.
My music is experimental in nature and I tend to mix genres as well. I might use a techno beat with a blues keyboard. My sense of humor comes out in my music sometimes as well!
