Biography
I got started in music in the early sixties on clarinet. After a number of years I was playing tenor sax on weekends with several motown/soul bands (over 5 year period) in the Philadelphia area. As the seventies progressed music went to the background somewhat, although I always kept picking up my guitar. Then in 2000 I began writing and recording music. GarageBand became the perfect vehicle for that in 2004. I play guitar, tenor sax, harmonica, and a few other assorted things that make musical sounds.
Instruments: Martin DM acoustic, Washburn DS10 acoustic, Applause-Ovation 148-5 acoustic-electric, Applause AA14 acoustic, "Grand" tenor saxophone, Yamaha PSR 293 keyboard, assorted harmonicas, recorder, tin flute, and other noise makers.
I enjoy participating in collaborations when time allows. And I owe to my family that the spark of music making was reignited in me back in 2000.
