Nice and smooth. Good work!

Whoops -- we took a step backwards with this one.
Clayman & The Big Apple Garage Band by clayman 8 years ago
I liked it right up until the piece actually got started. Make your voice deeper and that effect you were going for will work better and sound less nasal. It was too uptempo for the loops you were using, and you mixed some genres that just weren't meant for mixing.
Think Floyd by clayman 8 years ago
I think it should be some sort of rule that the first songs that people make with GB should never be posted. I sure as hell am not gonna post mine -- it's awful. Like I've said to others: now that you know how the program works, work with it to make actual music.

Interesting. But it got too busy.
rough! (extended mix) by mctucker 8 years ago
Bit awkward in spots. Could use a more compelling melodic idea.
Daily Grind by Bosmith 8 years ago
Piano was a little awkward. If only my daily grind were that serene.
Dun Dun Dun by Ryoujin 8 years ago
Marginally better than the other one. Still not musical. Spend more time developing your work and don't just throw stuff together.

Interesting beats. Not very musical, though.
3am Jam (hi-bitrate version) by themactech 8 years ago
::claps:: Bravo! That was excellent.
Last Call by macsnob 8 years ago
Nice, smooth jazz. I like it -- good background music.

The first word in the filename is an accurate reflection of the musicality of this song. I hope you don't give her this for Valentines day. Throwing a ton of really loud loops on top of each other doesn't make music.
Being Jon Lordovich by sjoegie 8 years ago
Started off good, then fell to pieces. Doesn't go anywhere (with the length of the piece, it never really has time to).
Smoothing by Markus 8 years ago
I think the banjo worked out well. This is much better. You are right -- it needs someone to sing or play another instrument and you'll be all set.
SuperSection by Markus 8 years ago
I disagree about the horns. I thought they sounded awkward. I can see the idea you were going for, but I just don't think this quite hit it. The synth ended up making it sound like it was being played with a really old cassette player and there wasn't really much melody or direction. A good start.
TrashyDance by GuyDude 8 years ago
It's a neat beat, but I don't think I could dance to it. Lacks melody and direction. A good start. smiley
Down at the little Stream by Markus 8 years ago
Very nice! The opening is a little odd, but otherwise a great piano piece. I'm amazed at the quality of Piano loops available in GarageBand.
This Is Only A Test by Hooloovoo 8 years ago
It doesn't really seem to go anywhere; gets very repetitive. I commend you on managing to figure out Reason, though.

Nice job. The drums were a bit too loud, though. What about this was explicit? I might have just missed it since my volume was down low considering it's 4:30 AM.
Tribulations by Daniel 8 years ago
The name is Tribulations. I had originally named it Soccer, when I realized the same thing you did. But I was too lazy to re-upload the file, so I only was able to change the name of the entry here. But the song is really named Tribulations. smiley

Love it! Can we get one with a higher bitrate maybe? smiley
Blare by OldLady 8 years ago
Reminds me of Charlie Brown. Nice work!
Mr D's Got Rhythm by OldLady 8 years ago
Wow! That was fantastic! Amazing piano work! Was that all loops? The ending was a little awkward, but I loved it!
Soul Brother (Praise the Lord) by iConvicted 8 years ago
Nice first piece! The melody seemed a bit quiet, though. I liked the overall feel.
The Great Battle Of Repercussions by themagicdough 8 years ago
I liked when you got the piano involved, but the percussion was overpowering and the piece itself seemed to wander a bit.
Wonderment by samijo 8 years ago
It got off to a slow start, but I was really loving that guitar. I think that was a loop, but you pulled it off pretty well. Be careful to avoid making it repetitive. Nice work!
The End by themagicdough 8 years ago
Nice idea, but the distortion was a bit much. Work on the development a bit and give it some more melody and you'll be golden.
