| Before I read the lyric, I misheard "he needs a shiny saucer" as "he needs a shiny sausage". This is provocative and I enjoyed the arrangement and production. |

| @pharmakeus heh, I didn't even think about that. Those pages are clean (as far as I know). Google didn't warn me and I wasn't asked to download any application onto my mac. | |
| 17 Second Overture by Setu_Firestorm | 1 year ago |
| I'm reminded of old movies of pioneer families traveling west across the US plains. Searching google using the words "record", "scratch" and "mp3" might work. |

| Sueños (Dreams) by bobboblobbo | 2 years ago |
| I'm reminded of some early John McLaughlin here in your choice of chords and your back and forth between arpeggio and strummed chords. | |
| Bear Attack by bobboblobbo | 2 years ago |
| Thanks for putting a big, wide grin on my face imagining the reaction if this were to be performed in an auditorium of people expecting, say, Mantovani and his string orchestra. I really like the voice here. |

| Nature vs. Nurture, Pt. 1 (The "Nature" Perspective) by jPet | 2 years ago |
| LOL. I enjoyed this. On a similar note, I wrote a blog in respose to someone blogging here that "Talent is a Myth." http://www.icompositions.com/artists/DeathNougat/entries.php?pid=6695 Unfortunately, the other blogger got in such a huff that someone would disagree with him that he left the site. I'm inclined to think who we are is a combination. The genes set the potential, it's up to us to squander or hone that potential. |

| I am smiling too. This is light and fun, like Piero Umiliani's "Mah na mah na". Logic 9 is fun to explore, no? I am playing with Flex Time now. |

| Black insect visions paranoia by bobboblobbo | 2 years ago |
| I do most of my mixing on headphones and record with mics (as Mungo not Death Nougat) only when I think the neighbors are gone. I enjoyed this piece. I find it oddly relaxing, which may more about me than describe the music. |

What fake book did you get this from? This picked up a pretty good groove eventually - I felt like swigging some fermented yak milk. |

| Examtime Shuffle - Procrastination Music by bobboblobbo | 2 years ago |
| If you have the budget for it, I'd recommend an upgrade to Logic. If you've been keeping up with GarageBand releases, you should be able to import your Garageband projects into Logic. Since I don't have an acoustic guitar, I have no mic recommendation. I like the aggressive strums here. It's like someone asked Derek Bailey "play some slow, punk flamenco music". |

| Shades of Derek Bailey in this as well. I wish there were more experimental music here at iCompositions. Thanks for sharing this. |

| Let's Make the Water Turn Black (Logic Vocoder demo) by Mark_Hayes | 3 years ago |
| If Frank had access to a vocoder in 1967, I have the feeling we would have heard something like this on parts of We're Only In It for the Money (it's not that far removed from the timbres of the sped up vocals, especially on Flower Punk). Very cool and unexpected. | |

Where's the Gary Kellgren spoken word coda? ![]() Enjoyable cover. Is this a sped-up vocal or some other effect? |

| Rockabilly type track by PsychoWillie | 3 years ago |
| Even more enticing. I especially like the way you fill the stereo space, although I'm dizzy by the end.. The guitar reminds me of some early Pete Townshend. |

| Phobia by dirigent | 3 years ago |
| I get the impression of a space traveller monitoring earth music and getting two different eras simultaneously, not realizing it''s not a single piece of music. This also reminds me I should get back to my John Tavenor mass project one of these days. |

| Ice Cones. by bobboblobbo | 3 years ago |
| I was drawn to this one because of its rare rating (especially here at ratings-inflated iComp). This one is reminiscent of Derek Bailey's mellower pieces and Beefheart's "Flavor Bud Living". I especially enjoy its potential to annoy folks who would react 'This is not music". |

| This is various public domain video from archive.org. It starts with an edit of a clip from a WWII-era public service film about military operational security, the second part is edits of a research film about hypnosis, and the third is a short film of a nuclear explosion. The pictures of goats I found on the web w/o copyright notices (it was amusing to see how many goat pictures I found did have copyright notices) that I cropped and turned B | |
