I’m Canadian, born in Toronto, but a circuitous route via Australia, Germany, and the Ukraine led me to The Netherlands.

Largely through my work - originally as a journalist then as a teacher/lecturer - I’ve always been involved in writing. In the past, I published a number of short stories and poems. Starting around 2008, I began to write lyrics. To date, I’ve written a couple of hundred, about half of which have become songs. All of these are the result of online collaborations.

I hope to work with iCompositions composers/vocalists as well. (-:

I'm interested in the possibility of submitting an occasional song to a pitch opportunity, in particular in film&tv.

I write in a number of genres. My taste in music is eclectic, ranging from Bob Dylan and the Beatles to Rogers & Hammerstein and Rachmaninoff.
