Hi, welcome to my page. I write poetry (Comedy mainly), I have only recently started writing again, and discovered Icomp, I decided to join this site and start putting some of my poetry on for everyone to hear. I now have quite a selection of different types for you to listen to and will keep adding regularly. I do hope you enjoy. Also listen to my collaborations with wonderful artists like woofer3, k6, chinaman, macoco,guitar55,eagle_1,Barratok,Yohmar, Dirigent, Markoch, Bosshook, ShadowofNine and George PTingley. I am honoured to have been asked to do collaborations with them. Magnificent artists in their own right, please visit their pages as well.
I also love music, I have 2 sons one is a drummer, and the other one is a DJ and mixes music and does recordings for anyone that requires his help. I come from a musical background. My mother used to play the piano, and started to teach me when I was younger, but at the time I didnt have the interest, but regret it now. I also started to learn the guitar in my youth, but left it for years, but have now bought a new guitar and starting having guitar lessons, so hope one day to add my own guitar to my poetry.
My favourite artists, amongst many are "The Beatles, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, The Band, Queen, Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Elvis Presley, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Emerson,Lake & Palmer, Bryan Adams, Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, ELO, Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly,I also like the 1920 - 30's jazz singers such as Lil Johnson, and love Latin type sounding music,especially love hearing good piano and guitar players so I think I shall enjoy being on this site as have already found some very good music.
