| Like bec said, soaring! The dynamics here are just great; roller-coaster like. I feel like I'm on the back of Shelley's skylark. The only thing that irked me a bit were the harmonies at the beginning of the vocal. At first, I thought they were flat... they're not. I think the hard L/R panning is what was distracting me. | ***** Massive sound. There areso many little wickedly tasteful things that add up to equal epic (like the synth/bell hits at the beginning of the second verse and the pick scratches). Good vocal performance and treatment. The only nitpicking criticism I have is with the very beginning of the song. The cymbals leading in sound like a metronome to me. Maybe just cut it off where the bass and/or drum come in. Aces |

| Reminds me of the more melodic(poplike) stuff of Helloween or InFlames. Strong riffs... like the simple breakdown... good example of how sometimes less is more. The vocal harmonies "...to the ocean ...to the ocean" aren't working for me at all. Way too upfront in the mix for my taste and kind of pitchy. | |
