Hi Rob

I have got waves at the end of this version and a short reprise of the guitar. I have done a stripped down version which has ocean waves all through it and will upload that version probably next week, it is very chilled out!

My Heart So Blue (Erasure Cover Version) by GaryHunter 2 years ago
I have used Rob Papen's Albino 3 for the pad's and strings and have used the Vanguard synth for the small melody parts both are software synths, also used a piano amended on my Korg M1 synth. All the parts recorded using the Roland Juno-D synth as controller keyboard.

As for your comments I am delighted was n't sure what people would think of the vocal to be honest, I do feel it is my best vocal to date.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

Cheers

Replicas (Gary Numan Cover Version) by GaryHunter 2 years ago
For the pad/string sounds I use Native Instruments Pro 53 which is a VSTi and is a software version of the Prphet 5 Numan used a lot on his early material. I also use the Vanguard Synth and Rob Papen's Blue Synth & Predator Synth as well as a few others.

A very good take on this classic track. I liked the vocal style on this. True to the original but with your own style placed on the track - well done on a difficult song to do vocally.

Those of you who are interested I have also covered this track and done an extended version to.
