| Go > Open iTunes > Insert CD-R > Create Audio CD with Text > Pick Playlist > Burn Disk. Try on a playlist that includes a variety of file formats, sample rates and sizes. When done open up disk on desk top by double clicking and all files should be full quality PCM with text and read only permissions. |

| Many of the strong points essentially display one of the best and potentially powerful qualities I like in the artist/musician. That is the willingness to voice strong opinions. I am well travelled online and I think more than ever that this community has some of the strongest character and best talent going. If jessupe is, as I read it, asking people to consider crafting music with purpose and entertainment value as well as be proactive distributing the message outside of the regular safe and homey channels I can't help but agree. |

| @Koltrast Sorry to hear that. Ya I learned that the hard way myself. Couple of things.. Next time use > Save As > Save As Archive. Before importing mp3's into GB drop into iTunes and evaluate file via > File > Get Info. Based upon what you see there set up for conversion thru the Preferences > Import > Import Using pathway where you can establish custom prefs to any of the conversion models. Generally better results are achieved by converting mp3 to aac and visa versus. After you drag the mp3 into GB consider using the Export To Disk function at mix down rather than exporting as an AIFF. No need to dither the bounce in ways that will dramatically change the Word Length or Volume Levels/Bit Depth/Resolution. PS: You already have the thunder/rain sound effects. Sampled via Loop Library or one note away via the Software Instrument > Keyboard > Radio Sounds. |

But as a user I would love to be able to not only see the prevailing order of other artists material but also re-order to suit my own interests. | Simple answer is start with iTunes open, find and highlight song. Then go > File > Get Info > Options > Volume Adjustment. You may also wish to consider setting iTunes preferences such that you are able to evaluate your own files accurately. Do so by going to iTunes > Preferences > Playback. Good luck! |

| @LunaBleau Plus misinformation abounds. Real hit music happens when performance and production artists respect one another and work together. Sometimes I look around and here think, damn, what the freak is stopping this community from serving up a sic music bomb on the real world charts. Supposedly the talent is here but I guess everyone is too busy dropping onemaneverythingband masterpieces into the great oblivion week after week after week. Heck most of the tracks I download here don't contain artist names or titles that match. Especially collabs. Kind of opposite the streaming optional to include details, download or physical release should include details format I observe everywhere else. Anyways, this weekend my brother offered me a mic originally costing over two grand for less than a hun. Maybe you should take it Luna. |

| Actually I have a different perspective. I read and apply or if you will apply and read. But I think the real 90% of what you need to know is in the 10% they don't tell you and won't tell you in books and via online reference. @Moses. About that hands on thing. Are you open to sharing some hands on knowledge with eager young or not so young artists?. I know you are well, let's just say, one of the best and for sure you have been there and know what you are talking about etc. Just curious.
