| Good lookin out alex.. I can see the beatnuts comparison, definitely not complainin about that. I know the kick is up there, I actually used an 808 to accent it because I really wanted it to knock. With this kind of flow I needed the boom clap very prevelant. You think it's too much? | |
| LOVIN YOU (!!BRAND NEW!!) by GhostMusic | 2 years ago |
| Thanks yo, I'm pretty sure the "lag" your referring to is the tel ray delay on my 'hype' and 1 of my overdub channels, I always mess around with delay and directional panning to make the tracks sound full, I think I forgot to put the flanger on the same overdub line in question.. That usually helps everything sound tight. Thanks for the feedback. | |

![]() This is a great track homey, very original but with a familiar sound. The groove is perfectly designed for your vocals, I can appreciate that. Your drum work is fantastic, extremely tight, but with a humanized swing.. sound set was well put together.. Did you model those strings on a micro or softsynth? Mix is pretty clean. Your vocals are like Diar Straits meets Fatboy Slim on this joint , good performance and clever writing.. Keep it up pimp. |

| lol, thanks everybody.. I'm still learning how to make great "radio ready" hooks. Anyone whose listened to me for any length of time knows that radio play isn't my main focus when I make a track. With that being said, in the world of hip hop it usually takes a dumbed down, catchy, radio formatted banger to draw in listeners before they actually trust you enough to check out your real material.. That's really always been the case, the difference in the past 5 years is that there hasn't been that real material behind the singles to keep us hip hop heads satisfied. I always liked the 2nd and 3rd singles more than the 1st because in most cases they would have more of a conscious message. I'm kinda rambling, anyone have any thoughts on this? | |
| Cant Take It (!!BRAND NEW!!) by GhostMusic | 2 years ago |
| Yo thanks Alex.. that king of NY beat you made was actually what gave me the idea for this track. Idk if you recall but I asked you about it a couple months ago.. I like your version a lot.. Very Premoesque as with all your tracks. I tried to flip it, give it a different sound, and make it exclusive for my flow.. I'm glad you liked it homey. | |

| This is exactly why I love icomps.. amazing feedback.. You have a good ear, I was just saying last night that I thought a different (less tinny) snare or some stacked claps probably would have been a better choice. Thank you for checkin out the track, I really appreciate it man. | |

| TEakSTa I appreciate the feedback homey.. It all sounds like compliments to me. I know what my voice sounds like... Listen to the lyrics homey, there isn't anything eminem to my message.. on to the part about it bein written, I was referencing my other written material, not this particular track, the verses are freestyles, I try to keep the structure tight.. I overdub and adlib the vocals to give it texture and that's what happens.. Anyways, I appreciate the feedback.. Keep doin your thing homey. | |

![]() Good synth work kid, and i'm likin the strings... The drum work is original + on point. The mix is solid, you could mix the drums a little bit differently for my taste, i.e. stack 2 different claps and pan one slightly to give it that neck breakin effect, but it's good overall. Considering that you did this with gb + idrum i'm impressed. Keep workin man you definitely have a lot of potential. -Ghost |

| Ease Your Pain (Final) by GhostMusic | 2 years ago |
| Irok & Whispaz, thanks a lot for the feedback.. I get the Eminem comparison a lot, I guess with an album called Overdose I bring it on myself, but yeah.. I appreciate the feedback.. The female vocal is a sample, it's from a song by Blue Foundation that was on the Twilight soundtrack.. But yea, it's a beautiful melody. Be on the lookout i'm gonna be posting more tracks from the album up here for feedback soon. Peace. Ghost | |
