Biography
Nathan Boisclair aka Halluci-Nate has been making a name for himself in the dance music scene for over 4 years. After 8 years formal training in orchestra and jazz ensemble. It started in Austin, Texas where he absorbed any knowledge he could about music production and DJing. He took MIDI classes during the week and on the weekend was able to see then meet some of the best DJs in the world.
He was intrigued by all genres of dance music but there was one thing he loved about each, energy. He went on to mix a double cd set which included "If You Like It Hard"(hard trance) including- DJ Scot project and Don Diablo, and "If You Like It Chill"(soft progressive trance) including-Sasha remixes and Timo Maas.
Although hard trance has energy its rough edge seemed to be too much for some listeners. He then went a different route, blending the styles of pshycadelic trance, tribal house and hard techno-including Meat Katie, Chab, DJ Hardware and Lee Burridge. The cd was simply titled "Tribal Progressive".
He then spent his time producing a cd comprised of all his favorite styles, from down-tempo to hard trance, this 12 track disk was never release. Three tacks of the cd can still be heard on his myspace site.
His latest mix cd was passed around Miami as he attended the Winter Music Conference 2004. This cd titled "Parallel Realities" was a hit amongst DJs and clubgoers. It contained tracks from the tech side of trance and was heavy on the progressive, with every track bringing more and more energy, including- Luke Chable, Eric Enterna Austin Leeds, Habersham and Numinous.
During these Last couple of years Nathan has been spinning at clubs all over Michigan from Mackinac Island to Detroit. This included three different residencies where he was able to spin 3-4 nights a week for over a year.
Halluci-Nate is a DJ sure to bring you three things, diversity, energy and a happy crowd.
