![]() this song has an unexpected mount -- very powerful. Great buildup, very. powerful. Rock. One request: quiet the music while the verse is spoken to allow for more of a clearing -- the instruments almost cloud you out! Fantastic job all around |

| Garageband is self-explanatory, and most of what you can learn about mixing in a studio you can apply in Garageband. left channel is what is being played in your left ear. Panning is telling the sound to be louder in the right or left ear. You might not notice unless you put headphones on. It will sound like it is comming from your left. The idea is to balance the sound so that it isn't louder in one ear than the other (generally). Its better to spread out your sounds across the left and right channels rather than have them dead center (then it sounds like youre standing in front of one speaker i.e. it is not as immersive, but rather boring and flat sounding). Thanks for your comments. I'm always looking to improve. The potential for improvement for any person is, in my mind, infinite. I will never stop improving. |

| Skatter Braind by Hennessey | 4 years ago |
| The flute is admittedly a sample. Read the song description for a breakdown. There are a couple other samples here. Mixing was straightforward. It just happens in garageband. The only think I have to do is make sure my levels are good, and that the tracks are all balanced. The repeated flute articulations in the end were actually edited outside garageband, which is why it took me so long to get it down. |

![]() I'm imagining that the person who just died was very important, and that it was accepted that they were gone. Whoever just died has left a legacy behind. Don't know if this is on the mark in any way whatsoever, but that's the impression your music has made. ![]() |

| HENNUT (Father of the Artist)- You are beyond all I could have hoped for. You have taken the genetic musical ability of both me and your mother and combined it into a sythesis that is greater than the sum of its parts. I am very proud to call you my son. A stunning work Patrick. Also, STEVIL was right on. You should not worry about 'the List.' Worry about the music. |

![]() I like your work. I usually go for more emotive sounds, and this track has some of those qualities (sad guitar, strings, etc.) Smooth drums. You have connections to many talented beatmakers, it seems. |

| I very, very badly want to remix this, and turn the end part after the breakaway into a fast paced drum-n-bass slam session (right after that "scream" sound). Double the time signature. Oh man...if only my laptop worked... | |

| That's the problem with doing a song with ReBirth. Open spaces are part of the style. You can only program the song with so many patterns, and after that it gets incomprehhensible and impossible to keep track of. Visit http://www.rebirthmuseum.com/ and take a look at this program (it's available for free). Thanks for listening! |

| Goldie by Hennessey | 5 years ago |
| A bad review! Sweet! I spent as much time on this as I did on others. It make me so happy that someone had the guts to tell me they don't like something. Have you ever heard Mirwais? He's a French composer who's done work for Madonna. I was emulating his style, for fun, I suppose. Thanks for listening! |

| Someone on iComp already did a remix of this track...without telling me. Since I am already guilty of ripping off nintendo, I don't really mind. He did a good job. I can't seem to find the track, but it has "with Hennessey beat" in the title... | |

| Just a note: here are how the effects were laid out: Vaporman's voice: equalizer frequency range bumped up, treble bumped up, bass bumped down. Lilichi: phaser, track echo. | |

| Lost in Metropolis by Hennessey | 6 years ago |
| It's funny, this song is really an older production from back in August 2004. I don't even use ReBirth anymore. And I don't really make dance/techno much at all. But I'm very happy with this song's popularity, so thanks a million for the feedback! -Hennessey |

| Revolution of a bike ride. by AimlessSea | 6 years ago |
![]() Eriee sounds! I think that this song could go from good to great by adding in a couple bars of ominous undulating vibrations as a sort of "bridge". They would carry the listener through an even more unsettling 8-bar soundscape which might help break up the monotony of the piece. Otherwise, your concept is sweet. Keep going. |
