HENRYMARTYN
During the mid 1800’s, an English man by the name of Henry Martyn; an intellectual who attended Cambridge University--felt the call of God in his life; a call to missionary work in India. He also fell in love with a woman by the name of India; who likewise loved him for his passion for Christ. Lydia loved him so much, but chose not to follow him to India. Struggling with his decision between Lydia or India--he chose to serve God. Perserverant, disciplined, and willing to obey God’s call, he moved to India and begin missionary work. Giving to the ministry everything in his own strength, he served for 6 years, until his death as a martyr. In the 6 years of mission work, one of his greatest achievements was his translation of the New Testament into 3 languages--still used today. For this reason and in the same spirit of sacrifice...and perserverance...in the spirit of HenryMartyn, we are...HenryMartyn.
OUR MISSION: “For God, Anytime, At all Costs!
It has been our goal to establish a positive foundation for what we understand as being positively driven, truth guided music--with sweet melodies, smooth vocals, edgy guitar riffs, and solid percussions.
HenryMartyn consists of 4 members: Mario Sanchez, Samuel Salas, Jose Flores, and Joshua Jardines.
All Songs and music are also in Spanish. CD to be released in Summer 2006.

Durante los 1800, un hombre Ingles por nombre Henry Martyn; perserverante, disiplinado, y dispuesto a obedecer al llamado del Senor, se movio a la India para empesar su trabajo misionero. Dandole al ministerio todo de su propia fuerza, sirvio como misionero por 6 anos, hasta el llegar de su muerte. En tan poco tiempo, uno de sus grande logros fue su traduccion del Nuevo Testamento a 3 lenguajes indijenas. Por esta razon y en el mismos espiritu de sacrificio...y perseveransa...somos HenryMartyn.
Ha sido nuestra meta estableser una fundacion positiva por lo que entendemos que es motivado positivamente, musica guidad por la verdad--con melodias dulces, vocales suaves, ritmos cheveres, y percusion solido. HenryMartyn is mejor conocido por su celo y caracter iluminoso que resusita a cualquier multitud muerta. La musica deHenryMartyn trae mensajes de salvacion y cambio para animar y levantar el pueblo de Dios. Paralelo con los mensajes biblico, HenryMartyn da una perspectiva de vida que pertiene la la vida Cristiana, en un intento de cerrar le brecha entre los crellentes y los que nos son.
