Biography
I've never been in a band. I've never gigged. I've yet to learn a cover in its entirety. And up until recently, I've never played in front of anyone other than immediate family. And you wonder where I got my name from....
But a few years ago, I got a wild hair, discovered Garageband, discovered iComp, and the fact that I've never been in a band, or gigged, or learned a cover didn't make any difference. I get to form a "band" with every song I write, or contribute to as a collaborator, and that's a very special thing.
For me, iComp equals collaborations. It's the most defining feature of this site, and is the most entrancing. The goosebump flush you get, listening to the final version, is just so much better when a song has more than one artist in it. As such, the tunes I'm most proud of are those where I collaborated with other talented artists here on this site. If you have a hankering to check out my tunes, please listen to the collabs. Where I could, I've updated the titles to reflect the other artists. Since my list is becoming a bit unwieldy, here are some of my favorites:
Metal/hard rock
Instrumentals:
Storm on the Horizon
Odyssey
A Top of Gold, done right
The Darkness Before Dawn
With vocals:
Fit to Be Tied
Time Traveler
My Shameless Insanity
Fractured Mind
An Gorta Mor
The Fire in His Eye
Leave it Alone
Break the Silence
Outta My Way
the undone
Run for My Life
Acoustic rock:
New Year's Day
A Million Tears
The Reins of Regret
Glidin' on Water
Can't look her in the eye
Rock/electronica hybrid:
The Chase!
Stomp
Lush
The Space You Leave
Thanks for listening.
