| Confuzed by fromano | 4 years ago |
![]() I came home after work about a month ago and these lyrics just popped in my head. I set down with my guitar and next thing you know "Confuzed" was born. I love this song and knew from the Git-go that I had to put it out for the world to hear. Thank the Lord that fromano liked it! When I posted "Mama" about nine months ago he was the first to say " Hey" That is a wonderful song.. He did his own version of it and I was overwhelmed with joy. He is such a great artist and deserves to have the song he wrote "Part of the show" go platinum. I will continue to write songs as long as he agrees to sing them... By the way, I just posted another one called "Not in that order".. I am sure that "F" will make it something good also. Thank you all and most of all thank you Fromano for your awesome talent.. Blessings Jimmy |

![]() David My son Mason and I just listened to this song again. Actually Mason and I were playing some songs we like and he said "Dad, can you play that song about the little baby that that guy sings who is our family?" We had a fine moment listening to it and I thank you for the oppurtunity to listen to such devine words. We would like to wish you and your family a very happy Easter. I will be working at the chapel that day but we plan on celebrating when I get home in the afternoon. God bless you and yours and please continue to sing your wonderful songs. | Thank you all so much for the kind words. I got home last night and actually had some time to myself so I decided to make the most of it. Like most of my songs I never sit down before I begin and write them down. I just "Let it happen" I zoned out there for about four hours, when I came to I had this song in my hands. The Lord has his ways and I don't argue. Ha. Feel free to do whatever you want with the song, I'm just glad I got through to someone. I still don't have this Loop thing down nearly as good as Fromano but I'm going to keep trying. As always Jimmy |

![]() Made me feel good man. I just closed my eyes and pretended that I was riding a cloud to some far off land. I really like instrumentals like this one. I think songs like this help us to find the inner peace that we all have but forget about when the world reminds us that it's hard sometimes to get along with one another. Songs like this help us to let our guard down and let love just "Happen". Thanks for giving the world this great tune. James |

![]() Where do I begin? You put some serious heart to this one man! I am sorry for your loss my brother but you have absolutley found the way to give life when it no longer exists outside your window. Words and music like this seem to find a way to let us deal with our loss a little better than we would have. Thank the Lord that you have such a talent that is capable of capturing the words of that soul that flew to Heaven. I am so thankful that there are people like you in this world. You restore my faith in mankind. God Bless you . Jimmy |

![]() When Fromano sent me this version of "mama" I dang near fell out of my chair. I was so anxious to hear the version that he was working on that I almost didn't go to work that day. He posted his first comment about one hour after I put the song on the site. I was so overjoyed that I almost couldn't contain myself. He made me a favorite so I clicked on his site so I could hear some of his tunes. The first one that I heard was "Part of the show". About twenty seconds into the song I looked over at my wife Susan and she had the same look on her face and was obviously feeling the same thing that I was. "This guy has got his music together" I said. I must have listened to that song seven more times. I just couldn't get over how it made me feel. To say that he is a true wonder is absolutley an understatement. I consider him to be one of the best musicians and song writers that I have yet to come across. I consider him to be as much part of this song as I ever was. I am truely fortunate to have this great dude singing my song. |

![]() I checked my messages thinking that there is now way that anyone has checked my songs out. Low and behold I'll be darned. I was so excited that I went and woke my wife up and made her come down stairs just so she could see what you had said. We decided to check your site out and I came to the conclusion after listening to your first song that you are a talent that needs to be discovered. I totally dig "Part of the Show". Such a wonderful song and the chords absolutley compliment your great voice. I have came to the conclusion that you are a cross between Duncan Shiek and U2. I look forward to everything that you sing. Take care and God Bless. Jimmy Fahnestock |

| Via Dolorosa (mandolin) by David E. Fahnestock | 5 years ago |
![]() Really nice to hear you play the Mandolin. Growing up in rural Missouri my family had a Bluegrass band and I often sang with my Dad and Grandpa when I was a kid. My dad played Banjo, Guitar, and of course Mandolin. I don't have the talent that my father did but I still like to play some. I have a web-site at Acousticcode.com where I have posted some of the songs that I have written. Very nice to hear you play. Take care and God bless. Jimmy Fahnestock |
