The Dancefloor Comet by feenixx 4 years ago
This is a perfect amalgam of your previous track and dance beats. I think I know the loop you're using and it's one of my favorites, so thanks for dressing it up so nicely smiley

The sound effects are terrific! There's both energy and suspense here.
Strange Attractions by feenixx 4 years ago
Love the austere ambient environment. Almost thought it was going to turn into a dance track when I heard the unexpected regular rhythm at the end there!
The Comet by feenixx 4 years ago
70 tracks! My goodness, this must have been difficult to mix. But it sounds great. It wasn't the texture I expected for a tone poem about a comet, but it definitely works for me.
All Your Dub Are Belong To Us by feenixx 4 years ago
Cool beats! I like how you keep me guessing.
Mariachi #1 by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
Love the opening trumpet call! As well as the trumpet arrangement throughout. Nice groove. Makes me want to unlock my hips smiley
the ra shew 3: escape by randolf 4 years ago
This piece reminds me of the works of one of my favorite composers, Luciano Berio. Check out the third movement of his Sinfonia and you'll see what I mean. Great work!
I Know I Made Them Go (Bourrée) by Tribrix 4 years ago
The lyrics over the music was totally unexpected, but it worked. There's kind of a narrative style to the singing that reminds me of Dire Straits. The vocals sound really smooth where they double. Good work!
Drifter by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
Great imagery! I've always found otherworldly western stuff gripping. The music provides a fabulous description of the event.
All Souls Day(remix) by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
The instrumentation comes through much clearer on this mix, especially with the solo instruments. Did you pan them to a better frequency? Would love to know what you did smiley
Terpsichore's Mirror Ball by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
Awesome! Love this one. Wonderful synth textures and lines. When I heard this it made me wonder if you had upgraded to Studio. Then I scrolled up to the top and saw that you had. Great work.
Over the Rooftops of the World by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
Something about the way this one starts and its initial modulation reminds me of Maiden Voyage. Great wash of synths in the background. The diverse elements work well together.
resurrection by ciheins 4 years ago
You have definitely milked these loops. I enjoy how the piece evolves. It's just repetitious enough for me to settle into a groove without getting bored listening. Nice work!
Ghost ship by ciheins 4 years ago
Well orchestrated work! I know it's supposed to be part of a collaboration, but I enjoyed listening to it as it is.
Hands off icomp by ciheins 4 years ago
I think I completely missed this issue. But the song is really funny and reminds me of the many politically charged folk songs that were played on the radio during the Gulf War.

(no subject) by Tribrix 4 years ago
The punk rock vocals are very distinctly you, Lenny. The mix is great and I love the sounds you used.
Brewstew by Tribrix 4 years ago

Great to hear your voice again! Great arrangement.
Chemical Integers by ogusmonk 4 years ago
Nice layering! I'd like to hear better balance between the disparate elements, but that's totally just my opinion. In fact, the gap between sounds does add to the drama of the piece. Am of two minds or what?
Revenge by dirigent 4 years ago
I like what you've added to this. It adds both texture and imagery.

Your guitar really sings in this one. I love your slide guitar work... and it's well placed in the piece. Damn, I forgot what an incredibly powerful instrument the acoustic steel string can be.

Your drum sequencing is sudden, improvisatory, and the sounds you use create such gripping drama.
Twa Corbies (Beach Ambience Mix) by carlaz 4 years ago

In these Delightful, Pleasant Groves by dirigent 4 years ago
Wonderful vocal performance! The synth and percussion arrangement is a very interesting compliment to a traditional a capella setting.

This is so raw, I love it!
Wade in the Water by Xolv 4 years ago
I like cool jazz/blues feel to this piece. It reminds me a lot of Eva Cassidy's version of this tune. Great sound on the electric guitar.
Wet Seat by Tribrix 4 years ago
I like the doubling and effects on your voice. It fits well in the texture. Something in the texture when the car noise comes in reminds me of Sonic Youth. Great punk drum sequences.
Forever to Me by tbc32 4 years ago
These are very nice pop lyrics. They go well with your style of playing and singing.
Another Year, Another Corn by tbc32 4 years ago
Nice vocals, especially for not having a mic other than the one on your laptop. This would be a good one for a campfire and a starry sky.
4 To The Floor 4 Frankie by feenixx 4 years ago
Fun piece! I imagine muppets finding random objects to use as instruments and then just going to town with them. It's got a very "Where the Wild Things Are" feel to me.
Everybody Wants to Rule the World (cover) by ScotByrd 4 years ago
Strong vocal performance. Thanks for reminding me what a great song this is.
Wooden Ships (cover) by ScotByrd 4 years ago

Asmarandana (Love Song) by imadesentana 4 years ago

Critical Mass: Shepard's Nocturne by feenixx 4 years ago
I love your carpet of sound. Actually, I heard it more in the forefront of everything because it was the only thing that seemed consistent to my ears. Also, I've never heard of the Shepard scale. I'll have to check that out.
Exploring Inches by Tribrix 4 years ago
Love the sounds... the panning (I wonder if that is inherent in the sounds or if you added it) definitely does a lot to help create the mood of the piece.
Here's to the Gentleman by herrsolera 4 years ago
This piece is quite a saga. Great collaboration!
Symphony 3 Movement 4 by Beethoven by Tribrix 4 years ago
Great arrangement! Parts of it remind me of disco and those are the parts I like best. It's a very invigorating piece and for me, it captures the spirit of the composer's intent.
Techne One by Tribrix 4 years ago
Cool piece! The sounds of the magnetic tape are very foreign to me, but I can totally hear them as power leads in a dance track. Nice arrangement, very reminiscent of early minimalism.
Gravity by Tribrix 4 years ago
The vocal lines fit very well over this piece. It all has a very psychedelic feel to it. And 15 takes is not bad! I usually end up doing over 200 takes over a month for every piece I have that includes vocals. But then again, I am a bit too obsessive smiley
Portrait of Tracy(Remix) by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
Great sounds! I love to hear well-known jazz pieces in new settings. It's both unexpected and refreshing. The way you work with jazz classics is incomparable!
Sarabande by Handel by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
I like how the chord structures are spaced in this arrangement. The only thing I would like to hear is more emphasis on the second beat in some phrases, not all. All in all, it's a very convincing sarabande.
Sarabande by J.S. Bach by AcetyleneJukebox 4 years ago
Thank you for sharing this arrangement. It's very well interpreted... with distinguished sincerity.

I love it! It's like Catholic with a touch of Baptist.
Appassionata by dirigent 4 years ago
This is very quirky! It's like a demented carnival or a gaudy cabaret. For some reason, the image of monkeys in tuxedos keep coming to mind.
Sleeps in Heaven by Justin_Case 4 years ago
Cool story! I find the music appropriately surreal, demented, and austere. I can't help but think of Alice in Wonderland a little bit.
