I found though out my life, that a well rounded appreciation for all types of music helps to explore the endless moods and stories music has to offer. I Play piano as many of you know. I taught myself how to play from a young age. My Mother, and Father never purchased a piano. My practice, or playing on my own started each day by playing hooky from school and taking the local transit bus down to the big city of Syracuse. I would find pianos in the most obvious place hotels, churches, concert halls, and museums. My favorite piano was in the War Memorial in a dusty old storage room. It was there where I went to school for music, one chord and dream at a time.
