Great song, super strong voice, very impressive. Beautiful couple of spots where Geechi is holding notes without tremolo or wavering. I love the song and the well placed rythmic staccato cut outs. This piece sounds fine as it is, so this is just a thought, when a lot of folks mix, they try to separate intrument voices and human vox too, by nudging them apart a little (panning one left and the other right). But this piece gets all 5 stars x 4 from me.  |

Great Work!!! Good music, worthwhile subject matter. I couldn't agree more with the despicable priorities politicians have had while making the decisions to bomb folks and put our troops in harms way, lately. It is heartbreaking to think of our dead. And it is scary to think about how many fanatics we have created by killing their families. Never a good idea to bomb folks unless it is absolutely the last resort. Or unless you are sure you can incinerate everyone that has any reason to care for the folks you just killed. (and of course that is impossible, and even more immoral than what we have already rationalized and done) God Bless America (we are going to need it) |

Ananga mentions Daniel Johnston. If you don't know his stuff, you should look it up sometime. Daniel and I knew each other in Austin when he first started recording on a radio shack handheld cassette recorder. I was honored to get one of the first batch of homemade cassettes of 'Hi! How are You' Very insightful original work.... a lot like yours... it's true I just hope you aren't quite as troubled as he is, your stuff is great  |
