I started creating music in March 2011 in Garageband. I have no music education. I learned a bit of drums as a child. I have always loved music and I have a very broad taste. My taste ranges from hard rock, over soft pop, musicals, to traditional as well as modern jazz. And I love classical music incl ballet and opera. I think rap is the only music I never listen to. And I have discovered that I have a good ear for music.

In June 2011 I got tired of the limitations of the iPad and bought a Mac and Logic Studio, a MIDI keyboard and a microphone. Since then I have challenged myself to making all sorts of music. My interest is mainly to compose music and build it up in Logic. I am making around one new song per week.
I have a lot of fun doing it. I use all sorts of tricks to play instruments that I cannot play. I do not use any loops in my music. By principle everything has to be either midi or recorded by myself. No loops.

I hope I can please some new listeners by sharing my music here on iCompositions.

I am happy to receive critique from listeners so I can become better.
