Dig it! Pre-solo keyboard attack takes me back to the early 80's, which is a good thing! Good drum fills build anticipation; might have changed up the loop a bit (1/4 vs 1/8 hat beats?) going between verse/chorus/verse/solo. Great to hear you guys teamed up. Your writing, performance and production skills keep on improving with every track that comes out of SwampRatt. I sense Rich is letting you in on a piece of his Ancient Chinese Secret for attaining walls of vocal phatness. I agree on the Axl-esque phrasing. Nice "bricklaying" in the solo section, grasshopper. I might of had a drum fill or a muted guitar give a healthy "chunka-chunka" just before the chorus to signify it's arrival, but hey, that's just me. Kudos, guys. Now give me back my mic. |

Welcome aboard, Jeff! Very nice tune. Maybe it's just a little of the metal in me, but I kept waiting for the drums to kick in to swich it up just a tad. Sounds like maybe 2 separate reverbs going on there? (Vox seems wetter) Not tryin' to be anything but constructive... I'm excited about posting tunes here on iComp, especially getting the feedback so that I can (hopefully) improve by the next go-round.
