| Wow. Melancholy. Complex. Contemplative. Balls-To-The-Wall. How ever do you get to sleep at night with thoughts and scenes like these floating around in your head? Better yet, how do you catch them?!? Teach us how, Metal Man! |

![]() Kudos again, boys. I'm sure Mrs. Palmetto musta got all choked up over the kiddo's section; I know I did! Overall, very nice piece. Tight harmonies! All you or some of Trip? Couple of timing dings here & there and maybe Tripper couldda sped up the last 1/2 bar of the solo ala Journey? Is that just an upload error at the end? Congrats on another nice tune. P.S. Now that you're out of the doghouse, send us some Metal! ~KC |

| Cross The Line by awolrich | 3 years ago |
![]() Dig it! Pre-solo keyboard attack takes me back to the early 80's, which is a good thing! Good drum fills build anticipation; might have changed up the loop a bit (1/4 vs 1/8 hat beats?) going between verse/chorus/verse/solo. Great to hear you guys teamed up. Still envious of your wall of vox sound you got going there, awol. Congrats! Send more! |

| If I Change My Life by TripFandango | 3 years ago |
![]() Your writing, performance and production skills keep on improving with every track that comes out of SwampRatt. I sense Rich is letting you in on a piece of his Ancient Chinese Secret for attaining walls of vocal phatness. I agree on the Axl-esque phrasing. Nice "bricklaying" in the solo section, grasshopper. I might of had a drum fill or a muted guitar give a healthy "chunka-chunka" just before the chorus to signify it's arrival, but hey, that's just me. Kudos, guys. Now give me back my mic. |

| Next up for Boo & Cranford: "I'm Shooting Cupid" &/or "Barbarian in the Back of My Car". Heck, just start re-doing all the albums! Maybe y'all could cover "Kid Fears"? Trip, you could do the vox section of ol' what's-his-face! BTW, swilrlies for all you jerks going to Queensryche without me! |

| Bring in the Closer (parody of Crimson and Clover) by TheParodyBrothers | 4 years ago |
![]() Man you guys crack me up! Is nothing sacred anymore? I'd sure like to see the P-Brother's Mission Statement! Only thing on this song is the ending cuts out abruptly, like a gate kicks in or something, instead of letting the gits ring on out. Unless that's how you intended it to be, then I'll just shut up. Rock on, Bros! ~KC |

![]() ...And out of left field the P-Brothers attack again without warning! I always enjoy youse guyses twisted take on the world. Did I hear something in there about Dan Rather's kool-aid spew? hahaha! Post the lyrics! Good job, bros. Need more parodies like this on iComp. We could also use a few surf tunes if you got any of those laying around... ~KC |

| Groovy, dudes! I love the question/response style of vox/lead lick. I'm guessing those are in fact real skins on this track? Pretty hard to record those babys... I'm sensing a little clipping in the cymbal department when they get to crashin'. But who am I to say? Perhaps it's intentional. Anyway, rock on, PJP! | |

| Great sounds, as usual... that bass line is hypnotic! How ever do you get those incredible tones out of GB?? I'm quite impressed with your works (and a tad jealous as well) ! Thanks for the rock! ~ the other KC |

| Falling Apart by knieveljump | 4 years ago |
![]() I can't believe I haven't commented on this tune yet, K-Jump. In case you missed all those stars, I'm here to tell you that this is GREAT stuff! And no, this isn't i-comp glad-speak, I truly enjoy this song. You are quickly mastering the art of the pop hook... many kudos. REO is going "Dang! We should have thought of that!" My tunes tend to just snowplow right through from start to finish. Me: Little sunfish hooks. You: HUGE shark-whale-kraken hooks. Fish On! |

![]() Yeah! Excellent groove, pans, SFX, mix... heck everything here is top-notch. Smacks of Alice In Chains a little (a good thing) but is also new and fresh. Kudos! |

| [Shadows] Escape by Eidolonia | 4 years ago |
| An epic journey! Beautiful and haunting. The background story fits this piece so perfectly I can see the video in my mind, but then again, there's no way a video could ever do this song justice. I stand in awe. | |
| She's Mine by KipCanaveral | 4 years ago |
| Thanks all for the positive comments! The guitar textures come from the Tone Heaven collection and the drums are from Drums On Demand. Everything else is stock GB stuff. Thanks again everyone... makes me want to get writing the next one! | |
| November by AllenDean | 4 years ago |
![]() Very cool tune! I agree with Trip... the song just sets you to thinking Deep Thoughts (without Jack Handy) and then suddenly you realize you were trippin' out during the song. This is "meditation metal" at it's finest, ala Zep. |

| Walk on Water by IbanezDude321 | 4 years ago |
| Very nice indeed. Really needs lyrics/vocals! Because it's tagged under Gospel/Religious and with your title, I really want to know what's going on inside your head and maybe how you came to compose this very nice piece. | |
| Pay the Piper by herrsolera | 4 years ago |
| Nice! You gotta cool Dream Theater thing going on here. Wish I could compose a metal-symphony-opus like this. Great licks. Obviously many hours spent on this one. | |
| My Savior Is by TripFandango | 4 years ago |
| I accidentally erased my original comments... Side-by-side, your "limb" is sonically better than mine. Maybe I used too many tracks? I think you've got that "Bostony" wall of guitars, and yes, the smacking of Creed. Interesting layers keep me hearing new things buried within, each listen. This changes everything! |

![]() Nice foggy, groovy feel to the intros/verse lines. After listening a few times, cStu/Reaper may have a point. Powerful words, powerful chorus. Still don't know how you managed to string all those various verses together & make a coherent whole. Great jorb homeskray. |

![]() Sweet song, written in the 2000's, with an 80's flair about a 70's phenomenon. How did you do it? Great first entry here on iComp. Nice vox, Evel. |

| Waste Of Me by faelin | 4 years ago |
| Faelin... Tried your link, but, since machines have no conscience, it failed to take me to more of your Rawk. I tried adding the "California" to the end with & without a slash, to no avail. Thanks! #156 |

![]() Welcome aboard, Jeff! Very nice tune. Maybe it's just a little of the metal in me, but I kept waiting for the drums to kick in to swich it up just a tad. Sounds like maybe 2 separate reverbs going on there? (Vox seems wetter) Not tryin' to be anything but constructive... I myself appreciate it when someone actually says what they think rather than just "nice song." Which, BTW, this is. Very heartfelt. Wish I had your voice! ~Mark |

| One More Time by KipCanaveral | 4 years ago |
| Thanks surak & jkane! I agree with you on the solo... still shy on moving the vox and the guitar solo to the front. (Working on getting over that.) I'm excited about posting tunes here on iComp, especially getting the feedback so that I can (hopefully) improve by the next go-round. The downside: I find myself doing more listening than writing now days.... there's so many great artists/producers here! Thanks again for your comments. P.S. Does the bass come across muddy on your system? |

![]() Super tune ! Vocal phrasing is great and has many unexpected turns. I'm a huge Ryche fan & it does remind me of thier early glory days. Speaking of glory, my Spidey senses detect a little taste of Crimson Glory inside this well thought out, performed & produced song. Thanks! I love it! |
