Sebastian Lakatos was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1983. As a child he always had an incline to music and played several instruments in public music school. One of his favourite gameswas plaing with a simple tape recorder and playing things in different speeds and in reversal.
After highschool studies in science and a brief venture into mathematical studies at university he started Kapellsbergs music school in Härnösand in the north of Sweden. There he studied electroacoustic composition. After two preparatory years there he came to Stockholm to start studies in the Royal College of Music. Now he is working through his third year there and is currently, among many other things, composing music for male choir and electronics. Sebastians music is more often than not in the pure electroacoustic medium but he also has a great interest in choir music and live-electronics, as well as in music compositions for film and video games.
