Biography

I've had an interest in classical music and film scores for quite some time now. I began studying classical piano at an early age, and have continued ever since. Many hours of hard work have gone into my piano studies and performances.

I first started composing because I needed a soundtrack for my stop-motion film (the film has not yet been completed). I finished the soundtrack, over a period of about 17 months. I learned a lot about composing, even though I've never studied this subject formally (which I hope to do eventually). I retain an interest in soundtracks, but I'm more comfortable working on stand-alone orchestral scores than anything else. I feel my main strength is creating new music based on other men's ideas; after all, if Gustav Mahler could transform Frère Jacques into the third movement of his first symphony, surely I can do something similar!
