Yes. Yes, it was.

Sorry, I have no idea who Scott H. Biram is. All non-female vocals are me.

Love Zappa, so those comparisons are fine with us. And, Pink, we are huge fans of bad jokes and horrible puns...your comment touched our Id. Thanks to all for your kind words. We appreciate the comments.
Exit Music (For a Film) - Radiohead Cover by PinkFreud 3 years ago
This gives me the same chills as the original -There's such a chill.

Also one of my Radiohead faves and you guys did a great job. As for the "mix" discussion, I didn't take the time to run through the original before posting this so I may be wrong, but I have a recollection that Yorke is also buried somewhat beneath when the drums kick in.

Whatever, great version.

But they look so cute with guns.....as well as helicopters and big bananas

Nice track. Weird and trippy.
HOW COME by KCsGROOVE 3 years ago
Wow!! Great song. From start to finish, good sound and nicely put together.
Josephine VER2 by Henno 3 years ago
Very nice. You both sing very well and sound great together. I know this is a rough draft and you said it needs to be remixed, but you gotta bring the rhythm guitar up a bit. It's buried beneath you two. Nice song.

Oops. That's what I get for commenting w/o reading the whole thing. Just realized all vocals are one guy.

Funny, I got to etgilles comment and realized I was swaying side to side to the beat. Nice tune.

So, you listened to someone else's track and just came up with the vox? Wow!! Very impressive. And a great job, too. Props to Tommy for the track.

Thanks for the kind words all. Hopefully it won't take me another two years for another. I don't know how you guys crank them out so fast.

You've put out some amazing stuff while I was on hiatus. This kicks ***.

This is fantastic!! Part one also. Aside from the obvious talents of your playing I am also impressed by your use of the drums. I use the loops too and always find it to be a pain in the ***. But you have a good knack for it. Nice job.

I can see why you liked "I Feel Green". Women, huh?
I especially enjoyed the nice western clip-clop. Great song.

While, musically, I am sort of a hack, I do know a small bit about theory. I have to agree with Fortunato. This is 3/4 with triplets.

Great song though.

My girlfriend is gonna get a kick out of the fact that you called me Mr. Box.

Glad you liked it. It's nice to have something out here that YOU can hear the vocals too, lol. That is just a joke not a sarcastic dig. I really agree with you when it comes to my vocals and all the effects I put on them.

I also love the fact that something I wrote got stuck in your head cuz I sing "Impact" and "Betty Boop" all the time. Plus, they are on my iPod.

No way!!!! When I saw the title, I of course thought it was a coincidence. Figured it was just your title for your own song. But I did consider that it might be this cover. I love obscure covers and this is right at the top. I admit it sounds like a rough live version but I gave you all fives just for the effort of tackling it. Nice job.
My Baby's Booty by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Nope. I failed. Re-recorded it. Posted it. Didn't like it. Deleted it. I may try again. Maybe not. I will take all into account for further songs, though.
My Baby's Booty by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Alright. That's it. I'm re-recording the vocal. For my first song (Graham Crackers) I was using a horrible mic and had to use amp simulation which distorted the vocals. Hence, all the effects. I have no excuse for this song except for being a little self-conscious. So, I'm gonna redo this one and hopefully change the breakdown a bit to make it a little funkier. Thanks to my buddy Jim. Thanks for the high numbers though, regardless of it all.
Mr. Clank by LiquorBox 6 years ago
The rant itself was spontaneous. But, I had to do it in three takes so it changed a bit every time. The idea for it came from the night before, when I was trying to explain to someone why I couldn't smoke anymore cuz I tend to over think the petty stuff. Drink on and thanks for the kind words.
Mr. Clank by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Thanks Keith. I'm surprised you figured out that complicated chord structure on Graham Crackers. Just kidding, of course. I'm actually very flattered that you and your band would find it worthy enough to play. It's also funny since Mr. Clank was inspired by your Islamism. Nice to see we feed off eachother.
My Baby's Booty by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Well, I'm not a big Orbison fan but I do respect the man's talent. So I will take that as a huge compliment. Thanks.

Very cool! I think your stuff is funny and great. Very Harry Nillson. Good job.
I Feel Green by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Thank you, Mr. Neuro. You are the man. I appreciate the props on the vocal. I work in a school (creepy janitor) and for this song I took my entire computer to the school to work on the vocal so I wouldn't feel the need to restrain myself lest the neighbors hear. Even then, it took me two hours to get it right. So, it is very appreciated.
I Feel Green by LiquorBox 6 years ago
I also get side tracked on this site. Thanks for commenting and I'm glad you liked it. The only thing I run my mic through is a Shure mixer. And that's just for volume. Any effects I use come from GB. I tend to over effect my voice cuz I am never satisfied with the finished result. Thanks again.

Nice, short tune. Fun to listen to and even more fun to watch the little running guy while listening.

That was fantastic. Very clever. Although, I would consider that more of a warm up than a practice but you definitley got the right feel and the right sound. Nice job.

Eerie and very, very cool. I love the voices in the background. It reminds me of the music from the video game American McGee's Alice. I hope you don't take offense to that, cuz I mean it with high regards.

Great song, man. Nice industrial feel. And it's also nice to hear an actual song.

That's a nice, sweet tune you got there. It got a tad sloppy at the end with the bass, though. Nice guitar work.

However, you forgot Emerson. And I prefer Palmer over Powell. That's just a joke (a bad one) that I am sure a lot of people won't get.
My Baby's Booty by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Well, I guess this one isn't really vulgar. Maybe off-color should have been the term I used. Either way, it may take me a while as I am short on time and equally short on talent. Writing songs is harder than I thought. But, I will prevail.

This is, by far, one of the wierdest songs I have ever heard in my life. Brian Eno would be so proud.
My Baby's Booty by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Thanks Artneuro. You are my one and only fan. I agree with you about the vocal but I'm still trying to get comfortable belting out a tune in my bedroom, lol. And yes, I am a Zappa fan. Thanks again.
My Baby's Booty by LiquorBox 6 years ago
Thanks for the comment. I'm surprised you can't hear the vocal cuz I hear it fine. And you are right, the vocals are a big part of the song. Wonder if it's just a matter of your sound platform. Would like to hear from others about this and am willing to boost the vocal if needed. Please let me know.

Hand That Feeds (DJH Mandolin remix) by djh 6 years ago
Nice. I came here hoping to hear other people's version of this song. Just for ideas, really. Your industrial version is pretty cool, but that mandolin version kicks ***.
