| This is a beautiful piece of music...very impressed, Kenneth...I like the flutes just the way they are. In my opinion, the complex synth at the beginning is interesting enough to carry the song, without a solo, to the drums. I know I didn't give up. It was just interesting; then when the drums kicked in it was worth the wait! I'd leave it as is! I also love when everything drops out and it's just guitar at the end. Sounds wonderful. |

| Intense song! You have a lovely voice, Vixen! I have a song about domestic violence as well (it's the song "Born Again" on my page); the song's lyrics were also intense and serious that I ended up putting a humorous spin on the video to lighten the mood of the song a bit. I found it to be a tricky balance but I'm comfortable with evening out both sides of the scale. But this is a very cool song and you did a great job! Nice work! |

Thank you Vixen! I went back and forth on the reverb issue on this song; I'm something of a vocal "purist" (I think a vocalist should sound like what they sound like - know what I mean?) and I prefer not to use effects on my vocals; but that said, I actually *did* have reverb on the lead vox at first, but it just didn't sound right to me, so I removed them.  Ah well - and here we are. But I got used to the lack of reverb over the course of a few weeks and I'm Zen with it now. But thanks so much for your comments! Most appreciated. |

I have not been familiar with electronica or dance music. This stuff is really cool. Love the effects and the piano is beautiful - very interesting combination of electronic sounds, classic piano and the interspersed sped up vocals add an odd touch of a 1970s soul feel. And then we're off to the disco! Cool grooves, my friend. |
