I typically dont listen to whole songs here on icomp, but this one caught my eye (well my ears at least). Good work both of you. Very impressed

I have no idea where i come with the ideas for lyrics. I was thinking about pink Floyds The Wall when writing them. Maybe some of you hear some Rodger Waters anguish in that album in them. I dont know. But i do think they speak for alot a people and feeling most dont admit they have. The key to them is that there is always hope and light at the end of the dark tunnel.
Vocal wise, all i got to say is thank god for my wonderfull singing teacher from collage. With out his training, I would have no idea how to hit those notes. As for dynamics, ive alsys found that people that just "just sing" lyrics to a song, the song has no feeling. You need to express your trying to say.
As for the Music, LeonaLeva is a great music writer and i thank him for inspining me to just sing to his song all in 1 hour. Thank you all for all the great comments and good luck to all in life.

Well Thx, you definally learn alot by recording by yourself for 5 years. You learn new tricks on how to mix and just layer your sounds so they dont kill each other. I didnt just learn it right away. If any one has a question on how i get a sound, feel free to message me.

Great Song. very well composed and well played. It made me feel real good. the first song on Icomp to do that. But heres a little help, try to lowering your levesl. your peaking out way too much and its distorting the song. Bring the DB down a tad. and try to compress it to smooth it all out. i looked at the song in wave form, and the levels are all over the place I know its hard, cause just being a musician doesn't mean you know how to to record. It took me 3 years to learn that art (self taught). Other wise Your performance was excellent.
