| Thanks for the feedback guys - I actually didn't play anything because it was faster to use my finale transcription and make a midi file, but I wrote the tune on my piano. You can download it as far as I know.. download button? |

| Thanks for the constructive feedback. I didn't pay as much attention as I should have to the chords. For one, I had a bit of a time constraint, but also it got very confusing since each different line goes up a tonic step to a different key of the moment. The idea was to create some kind of buildup using that method, but if I had more time/had known more about chords when I made this I would have add that full chord sound. A punchy bass line would have been nice too, just another time issue of not perfecting it. As for the vocals, I would tend to disagree a little. Maybe I couldn't sing them, but besides needing a full 2 octave range or so, the rhythm and ideas are fairly simple. The melody is mostly what I heard in my head as I would expect someone to sing. The amount of note changes would probably make it a more challenging song to sing, though. |

| Thanks - Yeah I have been trying to get the most realistic sounding instruments possible, but I only have about half of what I need for a metal song. I'm stuck with Gband guitars for now, I hope to get out of that sometime soon. | |

| thanks telecaster - you guessed right. I wish i could play a keyboard like that. It's all programmed (like just about everything I do, because I'm only a bassist..) | |

| Wow very cool and atmospheric.. Some more textures in the background would increase the interest level for me, but this would function well to accompany something. Good build up. | |

| @Pharmakeus = This was done with the midi section so it is all MIDI files. However, I didn't use any midi devices, I just held down command to create notes in the midi note viewing section. Thanks for the positive feedback guys. |

| Thanks for the feedback. Interestingly enough, this was inspired by dream theater. I understand what you mean with the drums, my laziness is part of the reason that they are like that, but I will keep it in mind in the future. | |
