Biography
Hi there!
Welcome and thanks for your interest, stranger.
My name is Oliver and I am from germany.
I like science, metal and I own a PowerBook and an ESP 7-string guitar - do I have to say anything more?
My friends gave me the name MadScientist, 'cause I am a very enthusiastic bioinformatician - many of you might know this mad professor in the game Maniac Mansion, who's always rubbing his hands ... I used to do this for a long time, my friends told me
Actually, my PowerBook brought me here, because there was GarageBand 2 installed on it and this software is just so cool. Of course, there is software out there, which is more professional, but it's also expensive.
So, GarageBand has turned my PowerBook into the best recorder I ever had.
Before becoming a scientist, I played in several bands (for example, my first band was a trashmetal band, then I was the leader of a deathmetal combo and last but not least I was member of a melodic metal band with cross over influences). Nowadays, it's hard to find people who have time when I have and vice versa. So, this place here gives me the chance to express myself and to do a little bit of selfM4Dication.
What I like best here is, that there are thousands of other great and talented musicians from which I can learn and with which I can share my stuff.
And thanx to all people leavin' some words on my songs - be sure I read all of them (although I will not always write a "thank you"-comment, 'cause I do not like pushing my songs on top of the list by myself).
So, I hope you enjoy my music; Greetz and keep rockin', M4D.Scientist
