| Wow, what a logistical challenge! Great song and production i am partic liking the bass playing. great groove Apologies if you have already answered this before...but how is it done? do you just send mp3s of your parts to the overall producer (which while quick and easy means you loose some "tweakability" in the production stage). OR Is there a more sophisticated way of transferring members tracks back and forth? thanks Martin |

| Tie Your Mother Down - Queen Cover by jasonbogen | 4 days ago |
| As a Queen fan you always approach covers with trepidation but you do an excellent job on this. You should get in touch with them as their current lead singer is no bette than yourself! Great stuff (very faithful to the original too) |

| Nosferatu (Boogey Man Boogey) by Abstractvision | 5 days ago |
| Some amazing sounds a layering of textures going on here I wish i knew how the electronic users on this site generate some of these sounds I like the slight tongue in cheek approach with the traditional "spooky" sounds and lyrics Excellent stuff |

| I'm Ready (fats Domino cover) by farfor44 | 5 days ago |
| This is great energetic fun and superbly performed Call mean old rocker too, but i agree with Bob6stringer the guitar sounds very restrained. Get it up there in the mix!! (I guess us guitarists do have a one track mind!) Yeah, its odd but the solo towards the end does sound a bit like a harmonica. Deliberate? really enjoyed |

| Lovely stuff Big reverb drenched blues guitar....my favourite Very understated the way good blues should be with the accompaniment sitting perfectly beneath the lead. Great |

| Agree with feenix above. Nice minimalist feel to it (although the artist will prob say there are loads of tracks going on !) Like the way the vocal lines overlap Creative drums and percussion here. For me the track is a bit bass shy, but i guess that is the style of music Great tune |

| Song Writing For Idiots by calummorris1993 | 21 days ago |
| Great song title (caught my attention anyway!) God sound all round really Constructive criticism - The vocals sounds somewhat buried in the mix and need to be fuller/more prominent. (not necessarily louder, but they sound a little "thin" - compressor or eq tweaks maybe I really like the guitar playing here and the humour in the lyrics Good tune |

| yeah, agree with the above. very true to the original, but has your own touch with the vocals. good work part of me wonders if this would work as a guitar based tune hmmm |
|
| Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (Led Zeppelin cover) by LaFayette | 1 month ago |
| I love the opening section of this with the electric guitars panning around and complementing the the acoustic perfectly. But I agree with Henno, for me the rocky parts need a bit more punch and the drums sound a bit flimsy. Great idea, great song and great interpretation. |

| Straight out of the box i am hearing a great, clean easy voice and some lovely guitar playing. What better subject could there be for music/poetry than the "what could of been" song? Love it Be interested to know how you get that warm soft vocal sound in gb Does your page list equipment? (will look when the song is finished) Hey, for some reason your voice reminds of Marillion and Fish, esp when you sing in the higher register Great song |

| I am liking this a lot 2nd listen now Obvious musical comparison warning...reminds me a lot of Beck Great, unusual sounds and overall package Inspiring to hear that this quality can come from GB Love the slight distotion on the vocals, be interested to know how this was achieved Cheers Martin |

| Found you in the criminally overlooked category Glad i did Great song Agree with Jdwyer re the volume (it also seems a little "thin" to me but that just might be my cheap headphones (ie not a lot of bottom end) For some reason the overall sound remnds me of early Cult Like the bridge/breakdown before the final verse, builds tension nicely |

| Romeo and Juliet by craigcarmean | 4 months ago |
| Hey, this just popped up on the random track area of the home page and i was curious I really like what you have done here. You have taken it far enough away from the original to put your own stamp on it Great vocal performance and no attempts to do over the top twiddly diddly (for want of a better term) on the guitar Bravo |

| Hats off to you for one of the best artist names on icompositions (i hope you say it in an unusually loud and forceful way whenever anyone asks what you are called!!) These are great big dirty sounds and beats, but agree with the others, it feels like an ominous build up that is going to kick off into a big tune, but then doesn't |

| My Baby by AndrewRamsey | 7 months ago |
| Did you think that you could hide from us Andrew? who is this Ramsey character? Think it needs some dynamics and to build a little as the song progresses Maybe a beat coming in or some more instrumentation For a first attempt this is pretty good What tempo and chords/key is it? Might be fun to try and add some bits and pieces from this end |

| Ordinary Boring Life by Lavalamp | 8 months ago |
| Yeah , really enjoyed Great first effort Sound is really punchy and in your face Reminds me of the student/grungy music i used to listen to all the time in the early 90's (a great time for alternative rock) The instrumentation reminds me off The Cure (again, not a bad thing) Welcome aboard |

| Mystery by craighalkett | 8 months ago |
| Found this in the undiscovered section on the music page I really like the singers natural, easy sounding voice and the guitar sound is nice and crisp and sharp That keyboard/strings sound is a bit dated and grating though (maybe it could come in later or be a bit quieter in the mix) Just my opinion, i hope you take it in the right manner. Always feel the "this is nice" comments are more or less pointless Constructive criticism and all that Wow, it fades out a bit fast |
|
| CubiSpherical by MickD | 8 months ago |
| Agree with the previous comment I love he feel of this. Reminds me of something by Sting There is a excellent overall sound, but the song does not develop enough for me to justify it's length. There is a section about 2/3rds of the way through when the drums drop out and the clarinet? riff continues alone. Personally i would fade out at that point as when the groove comes back in we return to the same pattern Production and execution are superb and i hope you take my comments in the right spirit (I always fond it more useful to get some serious feedback than people saying "that is nice" ![]() Cheers Martin |

| Some lovely playing going on here but...does it really work as an instrumental? Not sure Must be some good blues singers who are willing to collaborate Put it out there, you've certainly got a good sound going on (plus the song has lots of gaps for your nice soloing (to fit around the vocals) Good stuff Martin |

| Black & White by BlendWellMusic | 10 months ago |
| Nice track. Hypnotic and atmospheric Good beats and sounds in the mix Feels kind of short yet at the same time it also feels that the melody needs to develop and go somewhere musically to turn it into a really great track |

| Gooch&Co!! I see you are uploading tunes at the same time as me ! Odd I see you are defying convention and have the drums panned hard right Great vocals Joe Must try and get you down to south London someday to sing some tunes with me Catchy tune with a great idea behind the lyrics I am finding that panned snare a bit brittle sounding and prominent and cannot here the kick drum (maybe due to headphone listening) Another great mellowsun tune |
|
| Dreams by rmathusz | 11 months ago |
| Nice tune great repeating piano melody and drums add nice bit of drama, (as do the strings towards the end) Is it me or are there a couple of "off" note son the vocals? (I may be hearing things) I will be sure to check out your other work. Good stuff |

| stepside by markitect | 11 months ago |
| Some cool sounds here and a nice groove, but someohow you can tell that it is made from loops which gives it a bit of a sterile feel maybe it needs some real instruments and the sort of slight flaws in playing that come with that to bring some more of a natural feel |
|
| VIVID by normanlevene | 11 months ago |
| My God this is good a little 80s sounding maybe, with that big perfect production and even the Stevie Wonder esque harmonica solo! There is a lot going on here and the mixing is excellent why is this not in this weeks top ten (i've never understood how that thing works anyway) great stuff |

You undersell your incredible ability with your comments You have taken this song to a whole new level Pro quality for sure (reminds me of mary Black for some reason) Thanks also for being very positive and sharing your experience with newbies such as myself This must be in the top 5 of songs i have heard on this site...period Cheers Martin |

| Long way home by apb | 1 year ago |
| Great fun Seems like there is more to the song though As though it is half finished or something As pinkFreued said it does have that 80s sound going on Drums, sound a little thin/hollow to me although the playing/programming is superb Enjoyed this one Nice to see gb users who love the software and have a sense of humour also |

|
| Lockdown by MKVX | 1 year ago |
| Although not my usual style of music, i really liked this For my tastes that 4/4 kick drum could do with having a bit more bass umph! as it sounds a little thin You're right the keys do sound a bit repetitive, i was just about to stop it when those Faithless styles big keyboards come in at about the half way stage. They sound superb. the song really picks up then Good stuff |

|
| The New Wave by Asgard | 1 year ago |
| saw this track in the undiscovered file as get sick of listening to the same "top ten" al the time previous review is a little harsh but the track does seem like a load of unconnected loops randomly thrown together, but as you say it is your first song. try to have a song first and then add the loops as you need them |
|
| Sorrow by eddyhate | 1 year ago |
| I agree with Eidolonia the distorted guitar is too prominent in the mix. Also it's nice to see some constructive comments rather than the usual"yeah thats good, i like it" which most people on icomp seem to write. I would add that the drums sound a little lightweight and maybe could use some eq and or reverb tweaking (or doubling or additional percusion) to give them a bit more umph! Enjoyed it |
