Hi everybody,
my name is Wolfgang Mai. I live in Germany and I´m making music for a long time now - but not as a professional musician. Music is just fun for me and I can write my own stuff without thinking about success.
The name "Mayflower" is used as a virtual label, it doesn´t exist in reality. But I like the name and the meaning of it: sail away to discover new landscapes! Music is an adventure, so let´s see where it will lead us...
I like making music on my Mac. I´m working with GarageBand and Logic Studio.
i started making albums on my own in 1994.
Four CDs I finished untill today:
"A World Away" (1994),
"Tuesdays" (2004),
"Holiday On Mars" (2006)
"Right Time, Right Place" (2009)
GarageBand Loops helped very much to create the sound I like!! But not more than 100 copies of the album were made, but it is enough to cover my expenses.
