Great orchestration job ! All the colors and the dynamics of a real orchestra are correctly delivered here and supported by a great sounding and production. My sincere compliments !!! | Thanks Eido... all your considerations are interesting too... I'm wondering now I'll rewrite the entire work fitting this hints... 1) creating different and more manageable little projects that will be joined later... (the cons is that I'll lose the "global control" in mixing at the end of the work... but all in all this is a really great hint). 2) Improving drums in the disco funky part 3) trashing the "digital equipment demo" sounding part... 4) Improving and bringing the piano part that now stand in the end, as starting point of the project... this to try to capture attention with something more elegant and most 360° pleasant... less tied to personal tastes I mean... 5) no matter I agree that the electric guitars are far million miles form a real guitar.. I'll not trash them.. I agree that they are surely not usable on an "high-level" production, but still remain good sound alternative for any eventual low cost/qualitative project... so I think they haven't to be missing in this kind of demo. (Then I've to admit to be a "frustrated missing guitarist" and to manage that kind of sound with my keys it's something I want to hardly try  )I want now to thanks again Eido and Lupiroz... My friends, what you have done it's a true present to me ! |

wooooww... this is exactly the kind of INTELLIGENT and CONSTRUCTIVE feedback (also if still stay very friendly) I was meaning in the forum... http://www.icompositions.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=46609#46609 I agree with all what you have written Lupiroz (also the "not good" aspects)... and I thank you a lot for donate part of your time and all of your competence hearing and commenting with so much attention this work ! -quote- "it seems to me you've done this also to let the others intend: seen how cool am I? This work probably would be the starting point of my "calling card" to enter this world... and so the "see how cool I am" aspect is overdosed on the more artistic aspects... (this is your Bingooooo lupi...) The work was conceived to express flexibility, cleanness, competence, in many music styles and in few minutes... and not strictly as an artistic expression... thats all : stars for the comment ************************* |

| Thanks fenixx... your is a good trick that I've tried to perform.. but I had a big fight with my processor... All the job was an heavy load for my not so new computer.... it cannot just do more than this... the song was finished with 28 Virtual instruments loaded... and more than 60 tracks playing... I couldn't really ask for more ! |
