| the cat the rat and Lovell the dog [A-] by woofer3 | 1 month ago |
| We heard the story of the young princes when we visited the Tower of London. I went up to see the Crown Jewels and was told I couldn't video them, too late buggers I got them anyway. Maybe I should put them on YouTube and further rattle the Queen's henchmen. On to the music. Very well done woof. I especially liked the bass line. All instruments played just like they are supposed to be. Need an electric guitar in there anywhere??? Call Oasis they'll play you one cheap. |

| Hey woof thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you liked it. Don't ever apologize for getting here late or early, your comments are always appreciated. | |
| The Dirty Vicar of Boulton Moor by woofer3 | 3 months ago |
| One of the first of your songs I listened to and it still sounds as good. I guess I never commented over here, but what the heck here it is. Great song and I think Dylan did a great job of summarizing your particular talents. | |
| boogie woogie bugle boy by woofer3 | 3 months ago |
| A recording when woofer was just a pup. Where are the Andrews Sisters when you need them??? |
|
| "oh! mio babbino caro!" - Puccini by woofer3 | 3 months ago |
| Sounds good to me. The clarinet is particularly sweet and your accompaniment is also excellent. The woofer keeps cranking them out and we are the better for it. |
|
| THE DEVIL IN YOUR BRAIN by Barretok | 3 months ago |
| Great song Barretok! I like the lyrics, the song and the guitars. Very nicely done with a great riff to tie it all together. The way you vocalize on this gem reminds me a bit of a Frank Zappa production. EXCELLENT!!! |
|
| Oh, Miss Johnson by woofer3 | 3 months ago |
| Came back and listened again. I love the feel of this piece. You, the piano and some drums. That's the way to do it. EXCELLENT!!! |
|
| Welsh Girl. by woofer3 | 3 months ago |
| How did this one get by me? Very good song, recording and production. A good ad for the girls from Wales. Who's better? Canton Girls or Welsh Girls? |
|

| I listened to this again and still like it. That's the sign of a good song isn't? Nice lead too. | |

| Well woof I'm only a year late responding, but thanks for the kind words. | |
| Never Good Enough For You by Monkaton | 3 months ago |
| [quote="pharmakeus"]Groovy track. Loads of attitude! I am slightly reminded of the "Cars" (great band) Thanks for coming by Pharm. I had not thought about The Cars, but that is high praise. |

| Hey don't underestimate the Mighty Mouse! Very nice groove and I thought I heard an acoustic classical guitar in there. But maybe I'm hearing things. Very good work! |

| "They've turned him upside down" is my favorite line. The humor and truth are always there in a woofer tune. | |

| As always another gem by the woofer. Too many Sunday mornings at the C of E? |
|
| Here come himmler by woofer3 | 7 months ago |
| Another delightful ode to the odious (am I using that word right?) and a fitting ending for the double-chin porker. Good song and arrangement. |
|
| audio murphy by woofer3 | 8 months ago |
| I forgot to mention the guitar. Good guitar!!! And the Handel break, or the broken Handel. Which is it??? | |
| audio murphy by woofer3 | 8 months ago |
![]() Another exceptional song and production by the woofer. Not the Zombie Wolf, but the woofer 3. The vocal reminds me of Zappa on "Overnight Sensation" and I love the pun on "Audio Murphy." Way to go woofer!!! |

| Good one Woof. Sounds like a typical day in the USA. | |
| monkey business [07-01] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| I agree with the above. Great arrangement, song and production. Woofer is da bomb! | |
| duck soup - mix [9-02] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| Your "party" section reminded me of Zappa's "America Goes Home Drinking." Good song and well produced. I can't wait to hear "A Night at the Opera." |
|
| horsefeathers [12-01] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| One of the best Groucho songs is in the movie "Horsefeathers." His version of "I'm Against It" at the beginning of the movie is a classic. Good song, woof. Well played and good production. |
|
| operation teddy bear. by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| Am I first? No kidding. So what was with Gordon Brown. Sounds like a guy that would have been better suited as a business man who deals with products and things as opposed to people. May have done better if he'd come to the US and A and run as Republicano. Good song, with a rather abrupt ending, but great lyrics. Way to go woof. |
|
| groom of the stool by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| What a great Christmas present, a new song by the woofer. Good song and aren't we glad that's one job we can take care of by ourselves? Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year to all who read this post. For those who don't, you're on your own. |
|
| Slow Down by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| Well I way behind on a couple of these songs, but glad I found them. Great song reminiscent of Chuck Berry's various odes to autos. Nicely played and I don't care about the hiss or the recording. It sounds good and that's all that matters. |
|
| Watson's wizards by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| I think I heard this song a long time ago. Had you put this on Mac Jam, or am I dreaming? Anyway, great lead guitar. I think you replicate a guitar on a keyboard better than anyone I've heard and this is very good. |
|
| Y sere *(I will be) by Morris | 1 year ago |
| I agree with you about the Rickenbacher bass. It sounds very good. Very well produced song with some nice changes. Well done, Morris. |
|
| Opus Schmopus in A minor by Monkaton | 1 year ago |
| Thanks for your thoughts Morris. Glad you came by to give a listen. I had a guy on another site who told me that the percussion was annoying, so to each his own. Thanks again. |
|
| Liam Gallagher [04-01] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| So Liam joins the list of Nazis and politicians for "tributes" from the woofer. Liam always struck me as a bit of a spoiled brat who thought he was John Lennon. Maybe we should rename him Liam Lemon. He is a bit sour. Nicely done. |
|
| Movin' like a slug in glue by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| Another hit from the woof. I like the way you use triplets, or whatever you do, in the "softly, slowly" part of the chorus. Good stuff. |
|
| baby baby baby by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| I listened to this again and even liked it more the second time. You do understand this music don't you? Great job. |
|
| like goebbels [02-01] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| His quote is the basis of the Rovian Republican party here in the US and A. Is there a big time Nazi you've missed? Maybe Albert Speer? Anyway, I love the line about the cheese and damaging your nails as you scrape off the mold. Good harmony and melody. |

| dreaming, the way I do sometimes [07-01] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| I agree that there is a Supertramp feel to this song. I like the uneven feel of the lyrics in part of the verse. Always good to hear a new woofer song. |
|

| Canton Girls (with guitar) by Monkaton | 1 year ago |
| My pleasure. I guess this means that I must give up my wife to another guitar player. | |
| Canton Girls (with guitar) by Monkaton | 1 year ago |
| I goofed on that one. I clicked the box, but didn't add his name and without John there would be no tribute to the Girls of Canton. Thanks for the comments. |
|
| Canton Girls (with guitar) by Monkaton | 1 year ago |
| Thanks you Little Hooligan. There is no mistaking that George Harrison haunts my guitar bones. He is a great influence on my playing. John J. said the same thing. The main goal was to do exactly what you said. There's no way I wanted to distract from John's great song. Thanks again for your comments. |

| who'd like teeth like Harriet Harman [-06-02] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| Always the best songs from the woofer. Great lyrics and wonderful melody. I especially liked the solo with the accordion, fit perfectly. | |
| Trip of a Lifetime (with Miss Cathy) by Monkaton | 1 year ago |
| Thanks woof for the comments. We have been remiss in our recording effort, but the weather is hot and humid, Felix hasn't been feeling well lately and I started a new job. How's that for a list of excuses. Thanks again for the support. We'll get there. |
|

![]() I don't know how I did it, but I missed this song totally. I'm glad I found it. Another gem from the woof. Your solo is maybe the best I've heard in one of your songs and that's saying a lot. Great song. |

| canton girls [second version] by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| I like the song a lot. It still seems the synths or strings are a little mushy, but all else is good. I liked the painting also. TK |

| Trip of a Lifetime by Monkaton | 1 year ago |

|
| canton girls by woofer3 | 1 year ago |
| Good song John. I think we all have songs in us about the girls we crossed over into puberty with. I would agree with the production notes from above, but all in all a good song and a good arrangement. |
|
| Drill Baby Drill by EvilFactman | 1 year ago |
![]() A great song, with wonderful production. Captures the frenzy of a production site. The guitars are great, did you play them, or, are they loops? Whichever way they are great. Sarah's words are on target as always. Safe to drill with no footprints in the Gulf. |

| eichmann's lullaby - [acapella] by woofer3 | 2 years ago |
| You are fast becoming the latest historian of the Third Reich. I don't think anyone has done it with more humor and as entertainingly. Well, maybe Mel Brooks, but I think you're right there with him. | |

|
| good morning Mr. Hitler. by woofer3 | 2 years ago |
![]() I guess with Hitler and Borman a song for Goebbles or Goering can't be too far of. If you ever write an album chronicling the Nazi regime you should call it "The Germans Wore Grey." It's a line from the movie "Casablanca." Anyway, great song and well done. I liked the use of the synth sounds at the beginning and throughout. Kathy was extremely pleased that you asked her to the song and she was very happy to help out. I love her exclamation at the end of Hitler's speech at the end. If anyone wants to hear more of Kathy they can go to: http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=108018 |
