Biography
Hello. I'm Eric DeJesus.
I've been creating music and writing lyrics for four years now. I wasn't too serious on learning and improving my guitar skills back in my high school years, and only focused on writing poems and lyrics. But now that I've been in college for 2 years, I've focused more on musical creativity and better structured lyrical pieces. For the past year I've practiced guitar and vocals. But for the past four years, I've kept on polishing my writing, in poems and lyrics and even short stories.
I decided on creating my project, Native Child, in October of 2010 after accumulating four years of influence in many different genres. I began just using simple but effective chord progressions with memorable and moving lyrics and melodies, but it evolved after I meshed all my musical backgrounds together. I still am searching for my unique sound, thus with each song I create, I try to make it better than the previous one; technically, emotionally, and lyrically.
I hope you'll enjoy my music.
