My music tries to be original. I rarely use loops and try to fine-tune my songs to keep them apart from the generic "made with Garageband" sound. Obviously, I'm still working on it.
I have a midi-compatable keyboard that I use to write all my songs, and a G5 running Garageband 3. I've written scores for two movies now (my own -- made with stop-motion animation), and am currently writing two more.
