he was a california boy transported to utah, where he found himself very much less understood, as prior to leaving had acquired such things as an 'education', had studied 'philosophy' and 'religion', which are not regarded as being of 'worth' out in the hillbilly sticks. But he has a guitar and various other playable instruments, can record them in his little basement dwelling, and put them out in the 'world' via the internet, where- possibly, an understanding can be reached.
