I've been playing guitar, harmonica, and writing songs for a number of years, but I'm very new to recording (as my first iComposition upload clearly reveals).
In my life outside music, I'm a father to two terrific sons, and I work as a painter.
It seems to me that iCompositions is so much better attuned to musicians' needs than myspace is. However, if I can throw my two cents in (being such a newbie), I think this community would improve dramatically if people weren't so eager to lavish unwarranted kindnesses on one another. We are here to learn, folks. If everything you compose REALLY warrants five stars across the board, then you don't need iCompositions, you need a good agent!
